My therapist took me to a room and I asked if she could put a mask on - she said yes but then asked me to come up front and pay first? Very unusual to pay for a massage before having the treatment. Anyway I was booked in for 75 mins but she kept telling me the hourly rate. I kept explaining I had booked for one hour and 15 mins but she didn't understand and called someone else who basically said I can't do a 75 min massage? By this point I had really bad vibes and asked the therapist again (before paying) would she be wearing a mask for the treatment - to which she replied no so I left.

I asked her what she was doing and she told me it was part of the service. when she was done. my cash was gone. and she said, well you feel better don't you? She said she took my cash for the hot stone added service then asked for a tip. It's my fault for leaving my cash out which was meant for a tip. but Now I go to (oriental massage) downstairs also in trolley square. way better massages. clean, honest, and full communication. more professional. and they don't steal. and there's cameras at the front desk.

Also, the rooms did not have doors and curtains separated the rooms from the hall. I was disrobing when someone just walked in the room. It was not quiet or peaceful. You could hear the phone ringing and other customers speaking. My friend and I were in the same room. My massage was literally painful, despite repeatedly informing the masseuse that it was too strong. I don't think she spoke English, but even if she didn't, my body language should have been a clue that I was in pain. She was using her elbows to massage me. My friend was enjoying her massage, so I dealt with it. I literally was crying with my face in the hole because of the pain. The next day, my back was severely bruised. It looked like I had been repeatedly struck by a 2x4. I am not a lightweight and I get regular massages in my hometown. I have never experienced anything so awful. My masseuse here was appalled when she saw the bruises on my back.
