You could hear the phone ringing and other customers speaking. My friend and I were in the same room. My massage was literally painful, despite repeatedly informing the masseuse that it was too strong. I don't think she spoke English, but even if she didn't, my body language should have been a clue that I was in pain. She was using her elbows to massage me. My friend was enjoying her massage, so I dealt with it. I literally was crying with my face in the hole because of the pain. The next day, my back was severely bruised. It looked like I had been repeatedly struck by a 2x4. I am not a lightweight and I get regular massages in my hometown. I have never experienced anything so awful. My masseuse here was appalled when she saw the bruises on my back.
