This year I was told that my provider was going to be retiring and I need to find a new one so I contacted this office. We spoke with the front desk and went over exactly what I needed the Dr to take over. She called back saying he could take over my care. Once I got there he for some reason changed his mind and after informing me that he couldn't help me he just got up and walked out.

I have consistently found the staff professional and friendly. And the doctors are professional, friendly, and listen. They give me options and we discuss them. We decided to use our insurance because we had met our deductible and therefore our cost was minimal. What he doesn't tell you is the insurance negotiated price is $370.36. At least for our insurance, which payed 90% and we payed $33.00. Each. When I picked up the shoe inserts for my husband and myself they said we owed $618. Total. I stupidly payed because I thought I still had not covered my deductible. I called my insurance and found out I had payed my deductible and not only that, they charged me $1236. Not $618. This is cash by the way!!! I had to dispute the charge at my bank and notified my insurance. My insurance payed them the negotiated price. My problem here is even if they were going to charge me the cash price the cost would have been $400. Each not $618. Each. I wonder how many other patients have been ripped off.

Three sessions in and I'm dancing out of the practice. My issues, lower back pain due to all sorts including bone spurs. I was in terrible pain. I don't give out 9-10 for pain as yo me those are reserved for when the pain is so bad you don't care if you don't wake up the next time... my back pain at its worse was an 8... close to a 9. I couldn't walk, standing was a nightmare, normal chores such as cooking caused me a lot of energy. In came Jenny and her magical ways ! First session I was achy, but a good achy yet still I wasn't doing much except the given exercises. Next session I actually walked for 30 minutes ! Yes!!! 30 minutes. Yes, I felt it, and yes I had to ease everything else but I walked again. Third session in and I was dancing out. Aberash Assefa was literally the worst physician I've ever seen. She does not listen to a word you…read moresay and could care less about any complaints you may have. She is rude, condescending, confrontational and in my opinion psychologically unfit to practice medicine. She does not give a reason for anything she does, at all. I asked her a dozen times why she prescribed a pediatric dosage of pregabalin and she never, ever responded; she just kept refilling the minimum child dosage -- for a 69 year old male with severe chronic arthritis and debilitating back pain. She said I needed dental work and would schedule an appointment for me. Weeks later I called to follow up and was told I did not have dental insurance, which is absurd. I have full medical and dental with my Medicare plan, which they know since they billed Medicare for my appointment. She said she would have someone remove a ring stuck on my arthritic finger while I was there. I waited until an assistant came and told me to leave and call or message for an appointment to have the ring removed. When I called they told me to go to emergency for that. She refused to prescribe diazepam (12 pills a month like all my previous physicians), gave absolutely no explanation as to why; and instead, she sent me to a pain clinic -- for insomnia! The pain clinic she sent me to was an outright scam. They basically extort you to endure their ridiculously expensive, painful and useless spinal injections, and if you refuse, they do not prescribe the meds you actually need. I told her about the absurdity of enduring spinal injections just to get valium for my insomnia and asked her to at least prescribe an adult dose of pregabalin. Instead, she refused to authorize even my current monthly refill and instructed me to go back to the pain clinic! Then she stopped responding to calls and messages altogether. She literally abandoned me as a patient, without cause, without notice, without explanation and with prescriptions pending! As a result of her abject malpractice I have endured months of debilitating pain, lost hundreds of hours of work and suffered countless sleepless nights. I should not have to suffer for her gross negligence and incompetence. I am reporting her and the clinic to Medicare, OMB, AMA and HHS. Anyone who treats their patients like human waste should not be allowed to practice medicine, much less receive taxpayer funding for doing so. PS: They boast a 4.5 rating on their website, claiming it's from "random" surveys from an anonymous 3rd. party. This wreaks of fraud as their Yelp and Google reviews are closer to 2 stars. I'm guessing they publish this misinformation to facilitate government funding.

I had a scheduled appt that I waited for for four full months. I was told my appt was at a certain…read moretime. I was also asked to print and fill out all forms online before arriving. I was 15 min early to said appt with all the required paperwork in hand. Then I was told to have a seat and that my appt was actually not until 45 min later. That is not what I was told not is it what I confirmed the previous day. The office itself was horrible. The smell of cigarette smoke was atrocious and as I sat there I became sick. I walked out. No drs office should smell like that. It wasn't until 20 min passed the time they said I would be seen that I received a text letting me know that they were ready for me. I have decided to get onto a new plan and try again. After seeing and smelling the waiting area I would never take a chance on going to the back.
