Getting checked in was quick and once we had all the shooting gear we were monitored and help . If we needed any assistance there was always someone there to help you get adjusted and give safety tips if need be. I felt extremely safe during my whole visit. I even warmed up once I shot a couple rounds. All in all I had a great time and Nexus will be my shooting range of choice moving forward.

Because of covid the actual class was done via zoom and the competency portion was done in person at the facility. At first I was very skeptical because the class was going to be done via zoom. I thought I wouldn't be taught as effectively as I would had it been in person but I was very wrong. He called on us multiple times to ask us questions, role play certain scenarios, and even interact in the chat. The portion in person was very simple too, you simply show competency with a firearm and he explains a little more and gives you in the end your certificate. A lot of police departments aren't offering fingerprints right now due to COVID-19 but he has BOS coming to his facility twice a week to do fingerprints for $50, which I went ahead and did. This facility also offers multiple courses for firearm safety and training which I do look forward to taking sometime soon. Overall I truly recommend this place if you're looking to getting your concealed weapons license or if you want further firearm training. Chris is definitely doing amazing things here!

He was not only able to accommodate my last minute schedule but also let me rent guns from him so that I could learn. He took the time to ease my anxiety and to learn more about what I wanted to do in the Air Force (reached out to friends and did some research to know exactly what weapons I will be trained in using). When I arrived at the range he went over clear rules and made sure that we were on the same page when it came to safety being a priority. He went over terminology, gun anatomy, stance, and even taught me a little about the physics of a traveling bullet. He was able to easily tell what I was doing wrong and right and help explain it to me in a helpful and friendly way. Because of his guidance my shooting got better every time! Our main instructor Joey was great, he really explained everything clearly and took the time to answer everyone's questions. We also heard from another guy who provides liability insurance for gun owners. We went into the shooting range area and there were four different guns that we could try. We were shooting at a paper target rhat looks like a human body. Joey and the other two instructors were really helpful showing us the proper way to hold the gun. After shooting we enjoyed some cocktails and food in their private lounge area.

I am in my 50s and this just seems to check many boxes I was looking for.. GYM, shooting, social events, very very cool sports bar, and others.. I have to admit the exclusiveness is a cool factor and they work hard to get the members together for social events! I am looking forward to bringing my wife when an event is schedule.. I am in my first month and really enjoy everything it has to offer.. the food is GREAT! and entire staff takes pride with the members... I really enjoy stopping on my way home from work so I don't sit in traffic, and relaxing for a bit with a drink or dinner, then continue home.. Quality of members is also a huge factor!
