I got hung up on,they scheduled it wrong, they couldn't find his name. The next appointment, they had him come down and it was the wrong building that doesn't do the type of scan he needed. I recently came in for a bone scan and was disappointed by the front-desk experience. When I approached the desk, one receptionist put a cracker in her mouth and the other appeared reluctant to assist me. I stood waiting to be acknowledged. In a medical setting--where patients may already feel anxious--a simple, professional greeting matters. Completing the intake forms was also difficult due to loud conversations among staff, including a man who came from the back offices and chatted loudly with the receptionists, making it hard to concentrate. I was particularly frustrated by the medical history form, which required strictly yes-or-no answers for family history. As an adoptee, I do not have access to my biological family's medical history. There was no option to indicate "unknown," and I was told to mark "No," which is not accurate. "No" is not the same as "unknown," especially when that information becomes part of the medical record. I hope the office will consider improving front-desk professionalism and making their intake forms more inclusive of patients with unknown family histories. Small changes would make a meaningful difference. read more

They DO.NOT.CARE. I wasn't going to write a review about the 2 months reschedule they had to do because they were short technicians. Was not even going to write one for the rude receptionist & having to almost an hour a few weeks ago when I finally had my rescheduled annual mammogram. It's this: Got mammo test results back and they saw a spot on the imaging and recommended a diagnostic mammogram and ultrasound. Cannot make an appointment until my PCP "approves" it. However, after several calls, my PCP still had not received the form. Talked to Sally Jobe after several calls to them- yesterday, they said they received the order and someone would be calling me back to schedule by the end of the day. I called them 30 mins before they closed only to find out no *signed order was received and they were mistaken. Called my PCP again- they still have received no form. Meanwhile, while they don't care, my family and I are freaking out. Is it something bad or not? 9 days of sitting on test results. 9. Also, FUN FACT: They recently outsourced their medical records dept to some company, so it will take a WEEK just for me to be able to pick up my recent scan results in order to go elsewhere!!!! read more

Just had my first ever procedure here and everything went smoothly with scheduling and check in, the staff was kind, and the facility was surprisingly comfortable. It felt more like going to the spa rather than the doctors which makes the idea of doing this every year no big deal whatsoever. read more

Had an appointment made that was canceled by this place multiple times over the last couple of months. Finally got to the date of the appointment which was at 12:15pm. After two and half hours of waiting finally got seen. They purposely skip over patients who are here on time. If you have an appointment might as well wait at home for an hour before arriving. They don't care for your time. On top of that was told since they didn't have the imaging from the emergency room where the lump was seen and they don't know why here. The techs are extremely rude and dismissive of you when you come and try to belittle you. Would give negative stars if able. read more

If you have another place or provider that's in-network for whatever you need, go to the other place. Terrible experience in the scheduling and patience experience, which was stressful and deeply frustrating, especially in the midst of stressful health situations. The imaging itself and clinical staff were fine, but when I called to figure out my specific insurance scenario after the initial scheduling, I got transferred multiple times (to incorrect departments and/or poorly trained and probably underpaid people), and the pre-authorization dept staffer hung up on me. Unacceptable. I was trying very hard to remain calm while this person wasn't understanding me and was not able to problem solve. I'd like to shout out to Cory in Patient Coordination, who salvaged the situation (I almost canceled). His boss Amy Phelps, the RCM manager almost lost the good will Cory won back with his listening, empathy and problem solving. When I tried to explain to Amy that, while I wasn't trying to get anyone in trouble, I wanted to give specific people so that other people in health crises don't get treated so poorly, she basically ignored me and wanted to get to what she felt the real issue was (answering my insurance question). She missed the point and left a bad impression. The insurance question was relevant and important, but for me, the bigger problem was the disrespectful staff. Looking at the reviews online, I'm not alone in getting no answers initially on insurance/billing and running across under informed, under trained, and rude staff. read more

I scheduled a follow up mammogram for lump protocol found by another imaging center. I took time off work a month ago. I got undressed and into the room for my mammogram but was told that they didn't have my previous Imaging. They said that schedulers often miss requesting this. So today I came in for my rescheduled appointment after waiting for a month and having more concerning symptoms and they could not fit me into their schedule because somebody called off. I asked if any other location could fit me in because I've taken time off work now twice and the soonest they would be able to get me in would be at a different location in two weeks! I will never schedule with this Imaging center again. Sounds like they have management issues. I will rely on a location such as Uchealth. They are highly dependable and I'm sure their equipment would be more up-to-date. If you decide to come here anyway, good luck. read more

I'll start off with the only negative I have... I scheduled my appt and confirmed the date/time at the end of the call before we hung up. 1 day before the appt I thought it was odd I hadn't received any reminders so I called them to reconfirm my appt. I was then told my appt was actually set for 3 days later than I thought and at a different time. I tried asking if they could do the date/time we initially set (since I already had off work for it) and they couldn't. My advice would be to double check your appointment time with them beforehand. With that being said, I'd still go to Invision again in the future. The day of my MRI went very smoothly. I didn't have to wait long at all. I was first given an Arthrogram. Staff went over everything with me beforehand and explained exactly what would happen, and answered all of my questions. They were very kind, patient, and knowledgeable. They definitely helped put me more at ease when I was very nervous. I wish I remembered their names because they truly made my experience here great. The Arthrogram went well, and then I was taken in for the MRI. I was made comfortable and asked if I wanted a blanket. The staff put on a podcast for me that I requested. It was over before I knew it. It was a good and easy experience overall! read more

Hopefully at the end of August I will be able to update my review--currently, I am unfortunately writing a disparaging review. In April, I booked for a mammogram. Nothing special, not 3-D, just a mammogram. The earliest appt was today, 7/12. They also asked for me to be vaccinated--which by the time my appt came abt today, I've been so. No confirm or reminder text, nor email we're sent to me. I spent 3 separate calls this morning on hold for over 5 min each to confirm that I indeed still has an appt. End result, no one answered my call. I arrived at my appt check-in time, which I had believed was the appt time. When I got to the door--mask required sign no matter vaccination status. Fortunately the check-in person provided a mask. Side note--my pt office doesn't require a mask w/proof of vaccine and Sally Jobe appt person indicated that with the vaccine request in April. 20 min after I arrive, I'm called to the next check-in station. I'm asked if I want to do the 3-D imaging. Apparently the check-in person is now an 'up sale' representative. I inquired cost etc. I'm informed that there are 3 people waiting for that type of MRI & each MRI is at least 15 min. I declined the 3-D MRI bc of the time issue, only to find out, it didn't matter, as I'd be waiting after the 3 other ladies anyway. I was then offered an appt for tomorrow-- which after waiting almost 3 months, waiting over 15 min on hold, 30 min drive to Sally Jobe and then another 20 in the office to find out, they can't really give me an MRI today. My new appt is now scheduled for end of August bc I'm unable to return tomorrow. Summation of the saga-- If you plan for an MRI at this Sally Jobe, please reserve your entire day for it. I am currently researching competitive mammogram facilities. read more

Stay away from this place if at all possible. My wife had to use them and we have a high deductible plan so they required the $800 + payment up front. (What choice do you have when it could be life or death) we paid it, she got the exam done. 4 months goes by and they send us a refund check saying we overbilled you. Great, we cash the $300 check. Then 10 months later, yes 10 months later they send us a bill for $340 saying we should have never refunded you and we coded it wrong now pay us. I call to ask what happed and they say it was 2 exams and they billed it wrong, ok it happens but really 10 months later, whatever we will pay. In return I simply ask for a letter saying this will not happen again and if we pay the $340, they will not come back in another 10 months and demand more money. I get passed around from department to department to get this letter, saying they will freeze my account until they can figure this out. Well a couple months goes by and I get a collection letter/calls. That is right, they are now refusing to give me a letter and sent me to collections. They do not return phone calls and even blocked our number! They are incompetent and terrible to deal with. STAY AWAY!!!!!!! read more

I was referred to Sally Jobe for a bone density scan. Scheduling was difficult due to their procedures. They refused to schedule without a written faxed order from my physician. After the scan, I waited two weeks without receiving the results. They don't send the results, even to the physician!!!! I had to call and complete a medical records release to have the results sent to me. If they needed ANOTHER signature, it would have been logical to ask for that when I checked in. What's the point of having a test done if they don't do anything with the report? I'm definitely going to find another facility for any further imaging. --- No other imaging facility I've experienced does a test and then fails to release the results to the patient.. read more

I was promptly greeted as I approached the front desk. The second lady that handled my paperwork was kind and efficient. I waited just several minutes before I was called and prepped for my scan. Ive been conflicted about this review. As I have 1 major complaint and I feel it needs to be heard. I had a routine mammogram in February 2023 and was called backed for a diagnostic mammogram and then an ultra sound in March 2023. Dr. Tolbert was the radiologist looking at my imagining. She told me she saw a spot that was quite small that was slightly off but she felt it was okay and told me at first to come back in 6 months and we would look at it again. Because I get anxiety I said "well Id think the medical field would be more advanced than this to ask me to come back in 6 months after making me come in 3 times and now I will have anxiety about it" Her response was "well the only other thing we could do would be to biopsy it for peace of mind" I decided to go with the biopsy cause I didn't want to worry about it. The biopsy came back as breast cancer! Im writing this review to warn women to please advocate for them selves. Waiting 6 months could have been disastrous!!! Catching breast cancer early is key so waiting 6 months should not have even came out of her mouth. Id never go back to her again as its obvious she needs extra training on imaging and what she sees. Im conflicted by my review because Dr. Tolbert's mistake to me is HUGE!!! But the rest of the staff at Invision Sally Jobe has been wonderful. Ive been in for MRI and I have also had to be there now to have them prep me for surgery so I could get my cancer cut out. All of the rest of this staff has been amazing, kind, and caring. I dont like to give a bad score for one persons mistake but her mistake to me is pretty big. I would still recommend this facility just not this radiologist. read more

I attempted to schedule a time sensitive examination, the woman working the phones was brusque, I went through roughly twenty minutes of questioning and only after so much time I was told there was would be no available time slots. This wasted my time, her time, and was mildly upsetting. Arranging anything involving women's health means being pushed around, ignored, or being treated like emotionless chattel so most of this was par for the course. read more

Here's yet another example of how a first impression can destroy a company's reputation. Granted my standards are high, especially with healthcare providers. I spent 45 years in the field and realize how stressful a healthcare appointment can be. I trained my staff members to be compassionate and respectful no matter what they had to deal with. With that said, I had an appointment here for my semi-annual MRI for my sarcoma. When I entered the lobby the receptionist, Helene, was on a call, when she finished that call and decided to look in my direction, she took another call. That set the tone for me and it went downhill from there. Rather than reviewing my history, she asked for the name of my employer, I have Medicare. She then mumbled something and when I asked her what she said, she blurted out that she needed my insurance cards and license. When I also provided a list of my meds, vitamins and supplements, she said that she didn't need it even though the instructions I received asked that I bring that with me. Yet another case of one hand not knowing what the other is doing. At some point I asked her where the results were being sent, she said that that was contained in the form, I asked her why she couldn't tell me and she reiterated that the information was on the form. My temper was flaring at this point and the bantering continued until I was about to walk out. I did contact my doctor to complain about my experience and request that future MRI's be scheduled elsewhere. The saving grace of this horrible experience was my technician, Tracy. She clearly knows how to greet her patients and to put them at ease. As far as I am concerned, I do not recommend this imaging center. read more

The tech that performed my mammogram was fabulous. Kudos to her for her professionalism, gentleness, knowledge and wonderful personality and demeanor. She's fabulous and you are lucky to have her in your employ. I've had many mammograms over the years and she is one of the best!! The state of the art facility is impressive and kept sterile so no worries about COVID there. A first for me anywhere, was they heated the gowns before they had me change into one! read more

I had a routine mammogram at the Lakewood facility. The front desk was extremely welcoming and efficient. As one who worked in medicine for 30 years, I was taken aback by the technician, however, who, within hearing distance of the waiting room, seemed to be talking extremely disrespectfully with another employee. Additionally, n ot that I need to be coddled in any way, but the same tech was clinical to a point that during my exam I was put off with her indifference. I have been a patient at this location for many years and would have always given a five star review. Even though the visit and exam were clinically professional and expedient, I will think twice about returning because of the attitude of this particular tech. read more

I just left Sally Jobe off of Hampden on Eliat Street, Englewood. It was a horrible experience getting my MRI on my breast. I was just diagnosed with cancer 6 days ago and wanted to get the MRI asap. My usual location on Indiana could not get me in till next week. I did not want to wait that long as I am meeting with my surgeon on Wednesday. The equipment used for my MRI was 10 years old, the noise was deafening. The ear phones did little to help. I had anxiety during the procedure as all I could think about was getting away from that horrible machine. Was told by the tech that this machine was noisier due to its age and the newer machines were much quieter although still loud. I then went to the manager of the facility and told him how awful it had been. He too agreed that the older machines are much louder than the newer ones. I cannot recommend enough for any woman needing an MRI for breast cancer to do your research first on the age of the MRI equipment. I wish I had known that Sally Jobe was using such outdated equipment for MRI's at some of their locations. No wonder it would take another full week to get into their newer facility at Indiana. I could have gone to Rose Medical or Sky Ridge Hospital if I had known they were going to use that torture chamber for my MRI. It is stressful enough to have cancer and trying to figure out what surgeon, oncologist, etc to use but when you have to endure the noise I just endured to see how far it had spread is beyond ridiculous when there is equipment out there that is much less noisy. I will not be using Sally Jobe again for any of my diagnostic procedures. I would not want to take a chance of another horrible experience like today. Again, do your research before having Sally Jobe at any location do an MRI. Since having my first MRI ever I had another one at another Sally Jobe location on Bellview, Greenwood Village. What a different experience. First of all they made me very comfortable, or as best as could be expected for laying on your stomach for 45 minutes inside an MRI machine. Then I told them about my horrible experience at the Sally Jobe on Eliat Street in Englewood. They put ear plugs in my ears then added earphones. I could hardly hear the machine. I blame the tech for not doing the same at the other location. It was a torture chamber and the worst experience ever. There is no excuse for what she put me through now that I know better. I also did some research on line and using ear plugs with ear phones is a standard practice. Sally Jobe should be embarrassed for having such terrible techs working for them and causing additional distress to patients in an already stressful situation dealing with a cancer diagnosis. I will not forget the woman ever who did my MRI or the terrible experience. The manager was just as bad for not correcting his facility to not be a torture chamber for patients. Both should be fired and replaced with professionals who understand what it is like to be in this position with cancer and needing the best care possible. I should have known better when the manager had a toothpick in his mouth while discussing my experience the entire time I talked with him. I couldn't believe it. Shame on the corporate owners of Sally Jobe for putting profits ahead of quality health care. Throw away that old, 10 year, MRI machine, and update your facilities to the 21st century. Make sure every patient is given ear plugs, quality head sets, and made as comfortable as possible during their procedures. After visiting the Sally Jobe location off of Bellview with a beautiful reception area, updated MRI machines, all necessary equipment for a smooth MRI procedure and true professionals from start to finish. I would rank their Eliat Street, Englewood, location as an extremely dated facility that should not be part of or associated with Sally Jobe, a black mark on their otherwise up to date other facilities. Do your research before using a Sally Jobe. read more

Arrived to my mammogram appointment today early, masked, insurance card and credit card in hand, as instructed via voicemail reminder earlier in the week. I was asked by the front desk for these two items and a photo ID, which I did not have. I have been coming to this Sally Jobe for years. I have had 8 breast biopsies and I truly dread these appointments, yet I make myself go as I know how important they are. I was turned away by the woman at the front desk for not having a photo ID. What a dangerous policy, Sally Jobe. Why put up this unnecessary roadblock to such an important screening? And front desk person, it really is ok to trust that a patient is who she says she is, considering we know our personal information, our medical histories, and we have insurance and credit cards with our names on them. read more

It seems as though juggling patients from one location to another, from one time to another is perfectly fine. Never mind the mental gymnastics this does to the psyche of the person waiting to hear if they're going to live or die. Never mind the anticipation of so many friends and family waiting to hear the results of the most recent scan. Yeah, Sally Jobe doesn't care about that. They, instead, just haphazardly rearrange their schedule to accommodate them and their current whims. Good luck to the rest of you. read more
