FarmPac oversold their Pecan Crusted Pork Roasts and their Owner, Glen Kusak, decided he would substitute their Bacon Wrapped Pork Roast instead without notifying me or getting my approval of the substitution. I didn't find out about the substitution until I received a call from my co-worker thanking me for the Bacon Wrapped Pork Roast. I was so embarrassed!! Who would send a Bacon Wrapped piece of meat to anyone who had just had a heart stent procedure? I immediately contacted Glen Kusak and asked him to email my co-worker with an apology. He responded and said he would email, but my co-worker said he never did. I emailed again and asked for a refund on the meat because I would have canceled the order or chose something else rather than send the Bacon Wrapped substitution that he selected, but he ignored my second email, and I didn't get a refund. I think this clearly sends the message that Glen Kusak doesn't care about who he hurts as long as his money keeps coming in. I won't be ordering any more from this company. He could have done the right thing by asking if it was ok to make the substitution, but he didn't. That was his first mistake. He made a second mistake by refusing to apologize for it to my co-worker. Then he made a third mistake by refusing to refund my purchase that he decided I was going to follow through with, even though I would have canceled it had he given me the opportunity before he ever shipped the meat. This is a dishonest business and you may not get what you paid for if they don't have it available. They'll just send whatever they do have that may be similar (or not) without your knowledge and you won't know about it until after you or your recipient receives the order. I'm very disappointed in the ethics of this man. He is driven by greed. He really needs a recalibration of his moral compass.
