Come to find out our rep had quite but no one from the company actually called to let us know that we had a new rep that would finish the process. Once the new rep started to find out where we were and get the process moving again it seemed to be going fine, panels went up and then all the communication stopped again. We had to start calling to find out what was going on. We sent several emails and left multiple voice mails and finally called us back. Now that the entire system is up and seems to be turned on, we seem to have lost communication AGAIN!!!! We have been emailing our rep and he has not returned our emails so I called his cell to find out he has also left the company, he did give me this fancy 1-800 number to call that no one actually answers so I am left to wonder does my system actually work properly, will I actually get my rebate from Duke, will I actually get tax information so that I can get my rebates back from the state or federal governments? I am also left to wonder if this is the type of service I am going to receive all of the time, maybe Suncrest Solar should be paying my monthly bill, also maybe I should wonder if they were actually honest with me since we never got any copies of paperwork or anything in writing about our contract or warranty. All up I feel like I am not going to recommend this company to anyone.

We got nothing from the taxes except a "credit" in which we cannot even use. And after I think 2 years.. it's gone. We did get a check from the electric company, but it was only 1/4 of the amount of our loan for the panels, so that didn't do us much good. And NOW... we tried to call a few months back about our panels not even working anymore and all you have is a "billing" department that can't tell us jack about what is going on. Your warranty was worthless, because you aren't even there to support it. Your employees lied to make the sale and now WE (My husband and I and our four kids btw) are suffering for it. How I wish I would have slammed the door in your face the first time I thought you were full of S---! Now we're paying on a $40000 loan for solar panels that don't even WORK on top of paying for the electric bill because your sh---y panels aren't working ONE YEAR later. If I had the patience, and the money, I would hire a lawyer and sue you for all of this....

Their sales pitch was confusing and the entire process of things seemed murky. After a moment to think things through, I was uncomfortable with everything and wanted to cancel my "proposal." I ended up calling within the three day period cancellation period (like they specified) however my sales snake was "out out of the office" and wasn't able to call me back until two days later. After I canceled my "proposal" with them, they proceeded to come after me with a cancelation fee of over $2,000. They continued to keep calling me from different numbers, and they would show up at my house unannounced and uninvited. I even have a video of one of them looking through my windows trying to see inside. I contacted the owner about everything and he didn't even let me speak and kept cutting me off. He then proceeded to yell at me and tell me that it's "his turn to talk" and then hung up on me In all my years I've never experienced such an unprofessional place of business who conducts themselves in such a repulsive way.

I had a different experience. My advisor was Jeremy Pitts. He was knowledgeable and didn't…read morepresent himself as the owner. Renu is a large company based in Charlotte. I can assure you the owner isn't out doing residential consults in Columbia. Jeremy did a good job explaining total cost of the system, including federal and state credits. Renu made the process of getting all permits, permission from my HOA, etc lined up. There were only a couple of hiccups but he warned me about one. He designed a system large enough to get a special credit from them but said it might not be approved by Dominion Energy. He was right. They made us downsize a little. install went well, except for one connection inside a panel box in the attic that wasn't secure. It shorted after a few days of operation and the system properly shut down. which brings us to my biggest problem with them. Service is not swift. I really felt like they didn't care, since they had already made their dime off me. It took 3 weeks before they could come and get me running again. That was a bummer to have a brand new system not even functioning. aside from service responsiveness, I'm very happy with Renu. Recommended.

I guess he does not like to work with semi informed customers.
