My father was a patient with this urology clinic. Everytime except for once he was moved from Dr. Rosenberg to a PA or Nurse Practitione. They tried to force him in to prostrate surgery which he did not want. They do not care about their patients only the $$$ or most of the Doctors would have left they are rude and do not get back to you in a timely manner and after a super pubic catheter was place there was NO follow up appointment! read more

Where do I start? I scheduled an appointment for a vasectomy here on Christmas Eve, because I was already on vacation, and could not take additional vacation days for recovery. I should've listened to my brother when he said any place that is open on Christmas eve will not have their "A game" doctors there! Before I continue, I must tell you I'm not exactly a baby when it comes to pain. I've had kidney stones, and a nail through the foot that were less painful! Maybe I just pissed this doctor off when we were in high school or something, but the Anastasia was excruciating. If that were not enough, the stitches were put in to tight. I had to pull them out myself the next day. Three months later I went to get "checked" to make sure the roadblock was up, and the swimmers were stopped. I was told I would have results within 24 to 48 hours. Next week, and three phone calls later I finally got an answer from a nurse. The only two reasons I gave this place a one star rating was one, because that's the lowest you can give. The second reason is because the results came back in my favor. I'm not trying to scare men off from this procedure. It's a lot safer, and less intrusive than if a woman has to go through a similar procedure. Not impressed thus far. I have been suffering with a uti since March and it is now July. Not able to see my doctor and have instead been passed off to a nurse practitioner. Feel like they are disorganized, and unwilling to take my issues seriously. It takes forever for them to return a call too. I'm definitely not a priority. read more

I went to this clinic I saw a doctor who said she would replace my current medication for a stronger medication,total of 3 different medication but it took over 2 weeks for my pharmacy to get one (1) I called them 4 times to find out what's going on and Zi was always told we'll give the not to the nurse,for the 5th time I called I spoke with a power hungry employee who asked me the same questions all over .can they be more professional and have better work ethic and do what they tell the patients they'll do.unfortunately Des Moines is a very small city and there are no choices nor business that an compete with each other and when a patient or customers need something we must put up with business who do business like mamas and papas burger stand read more

This Urology Clinic has a monopoly in Des Moines, Iowa. There is no other Urology options available. Although the staff is good, their communication system "MyHealth" is worthless. I tried to answer an email from a Doctor and the message failed. Trying to call the Clinic is impossible. The wait time to get someone to answer is hours long. I was diagnosed with prostate cancer 10 years ago and the Doctor was not good. I went to The Mayo Clinic for surgery in MN. Glad I did. Perhaps, go to Ames or Iowa City for your health. read more
