I came to repair my phone and they damaged my phone, after replacing my screen they left a blue dot that was not there before. They even damaged my phone. Do not come here. There's no excuse for damaging a phone and leaving it worse than they found it. Do not come here just go to apple. Unfortunately I had to pay for the consequences of not going to apple. The canoe we were in decided to capsize and dumped our surprised cell phones into the river. My cell phone was only 1 month old and not hardy at all. Despite being rescued in less than a minute, it quickly began to succumb to the water damage as the screen generated lines and stopped responding to my imploring fingers. iPhone Solutions had really high reviews on google and I decided to check them out. The place was very busy and they had two people working. They replaced the screen and changed out the battery charging portion, not really sure how it all worked but now when I plug in the phone it doesn't feel the same. Very happy with my iPad repair. My glass was significantly cracked with a ding in the metal, where the glass fits on the metal. They straightened the metal & replaced the glass for much cheaper than other places I called. I researched repairing it myself, but the cost & aggravation wasn't worth it! I had my iPhone 6 screen fixed here about a month ago. Best rates by far from Boston to Salem NH. Trust me I checked them all! The person who fixed was very professional and friendly. The service was ok. They close at 9pm and despite arriving at 8 pm with a cracked iphone screen in hand they took a relatively long time to say that yes they could repair my screen that night and that it would be $75 for an Iphone 5s. Not a bad price but I suppose you get what you pay for. The screen was kind of wonky for the first two days but seems to have calmed down now. Somehow the replacement glass is a bit small for the phone and there's a rather rough transition between the glass and the fingerprint-reading home button. When you go in they will have you sign a paper and give you a warranty so if my phone had continued to act as wonky as it did I could have gone back and I assume they would have honored the warranty and changed the glass. However, I didn't feel like going back just to get the screen replaced in hopes of having one that fit better. All in all, I needed to get my phone fixed that day and they delivered even if it was not exactly what I expected. They have a slew of other services like replacing the color of your screen for instance which looks pretty cool. I believe after August 4th they'll have discounts on older iphone versions. If my phone breaks again, I might look around elsewhere first but ultimately would not mind coming back here, especially given the hours. read more

Great service! I found their store through Yelp and made an appointment online for my broken iPhone 5s. The battery had died completely (it wasn't holding a charge anymore) and I believe it burst because my screen had dislodged from its casing. I thought the phone had seen it's last iOS update lol. I brought it in and met with Alex. He took a look at it and said that the LCD also needed to be replaced. He told me to come back in 30 minutes, gave me a recommendation for lunch, and 30 minutes later my phone was completely fixed! The total came to $70, which I found very fair for the service and speed. I went at 12 in the afternoon on a Thursday and there was a decent amount of street parking. Customers in the area seemed to park briefly, so try driving around the block if you don't see a parking spot immediately. Overall, a great experience! 5 stars! read more

Got to the store spoke to Hector and was told that she must have done something to the phone ( she did not ) and that it would cost $80! We left and had it fixed at Geeks in Minutes for a fair price considering they did not do the initial screen replacement. iPhone solutions fixed my iPad2 screen quickly and for an extremely reasonable price - especially compared to the mall kiosks or Apple Store. Parking can be a challenge in the winter on this busy street in Lawrence, but it's worth it for the money you can save. Service was efficient, friendly, and the quality was great. My partner's Nexus 4 screen was crushed, and they fixed it (for under a hundred dollars, and actually for slightly less than their initial estimate). But our experience trying to pick up the phone was not good. They initially estimated one week. It took four separate trips to the store and two weeks until we actually got the fixed phone. Being over estimated time is OK (though given how essential phones are, that's not great). But after we called and were told the phone *was* ready, we went to the store. The first person looked for it halfheartedly, couldn't find it, and told us to come back later. We insisted that we knew it was ready and eventually another person looked a little more and found it (as far as we could tell, in basically the same place the other person had looked). The quality of the repair seems good. The new screen works. The bezel has a few little gaps / slight marring, but I think that's to be expected, and the phone will be in a case anyway. They factory reset the phone, which I didn't expect for a screen replacement (lost some recent photos that weren't cloud-synced), but seems like a typical risk for any repair. Wireless charging isn't working with the phone, but it was slightly finicky in the past and the inductive charger is very cheap, so I don't know if it not working is related to the repair. Edit: Angel, thanks for your response. Edited in light of that. It sounds like a number of things conspired to make our experience sub-par, and we can share some of the blame. One key issue was communication; looking back at the work order I see my partner's e-mail is technically correct, but easy to misread. Maybe typing or having the customer type contact info would help avoid missed communication. read more

My daughter broke the screen on my iPhone 6 Plus so about a week later I had my husband bring my phone here to have the screen replaced. It cost me $80.00 and was done in about 20 minutes. That night I noticed half of my screen was dim and the other half was bright. I also noticed the screen would flash every now and then. My husband went right back there on Monday after work and they claimed it was the backlight and it happened when my daughter broke the screen. Ummmm, no. I didn't bring it to be fixed until a week after the screen cracked and I had no issues with it dimming on one side or flashing. It didn't do any of that until THEY TOUCHED IT! Yet they said they could fix the problem for ANOTHER $150.00 - Are you kidding me? Stay away from this place. I should have paid the money and had Apple fix it. They clearly did something to my phone while replacing my screen then claimed it was caused when the screen cracked. I contacted the Better Buisness Bureau to file a complaint and I also went on Facebook where I saw the recommendation for this place and wrote my review of what just happened to me. iPhone solutions went above and beyond when my daughters Mac battery wouldn't hold a charge. We initially went to the Apple store and had a very trying experience both dropping it off and picking it up as well as the battery was $129 and once they open the back of the laptop they said that there was liquid in it and they would not touch the battery. I knew we should've initially taken it to iPhone solutions but my bad. Called iPhone solutions they were able to order the battery and have it for us the next day. We dropped off the laptop and it was ready within an hour. The liquid was dried liquid and they cleaned up the inside. And it only cost $89. I have had good experiences with cracked screens as well would highly recommend using them. Very professional! Quick service and even called to follow up a few days later to make sure the computer was still working. So I brought my note 5 into angels shop two weeks ago. He didn't have the part on hand and I was told I would have to wait 5 to 6 days, I was hesitant at first but decided that I would wait out the week. So seven days go by and no word, so I have my girlfriend call to see whats going on. He tells my girlfriend he has half the glass piece but not the other, he then says it will be done the next day around five. I gave angel an extra day to when he said it would be in and showed up in the store. Once in the store I was told to wait for about 10 minutes until angel came out and told me that the screen still wasn't in and that he tried to call my girlfriends number( which he did but he didn't leave a message or anything) to tell me that it wasn't in yet because they switch suppliers. I angrily asked when it would be done. This time he said next tuesday so now that two weeks from the original date I brought it in. So I head in on the two week mark and the freaking thing still wasn't ready and this time he told me he hadn't even shipped it out till three days ago! what the hell were you doing the rest of the time? This shop my be alright if you have an Iphone but anything else beware they have no idea what they are doing. I brought my broken phone to the mall it was cheaper there anyway. read more
