This is a review for Jared Zipper. Pros: Timely, flexible,…read moreand offers hours that work well for busy professionals. He also accepts various types of insurance. He was helpful for supportive talk therapy and discussing daily stressors. I especially benefited from the accountability around maintaining self-care routines such as medication adherence, doctor appointments, and sleep. Once I communicated that structure and follow-up were important for me, he was receptive and consistent in supporting those areas. Shortcomings: However, I was specifically seeking cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and I did not feel that this approach was strongly incorporated into our sessions. The therapy style was more conversational and supportive rather than structured or evidence-based. In my personal experience, I would recommend carefully considering fit if you are seeking treatment for complex trauma, PTSD, or more nuanced mental health conditions such as bipolar II disorder, which often require specialized clinical expertise and highly structured therapeutic approaches. I also did not find the therapy particularly effective for deeper relationship-related concerns. Moving forward, I will personally be seeking a provider with advanced training in clinical or counseling psychology, strong familiarity with evidence-based practices and the DSM, and a more research-informed and methodical therapeutic approach.

Caron is an EXCELLENT counselor who can help people across a multitude of problems ranging from Drug and Alcohol abuse, withdrawal and quitting to depression, anxiety, loss of a loved one, divorce and/or possible self-harm. Thank G-D I met Caron 3 years ago. I had suffered for 3 years, traumatically, taking care of an aging parent with dementia. Without Carons' help, I do not think I would be here! Caron had and to this day, has, given me the support to try and re-build my life The emotional journey I faced alone would have been insurmountable if it were not for Carons' care and knowledge of what I was facing and have faced. Caron is the consummate Mental Health professional, giving the care, direction and the emotional support needed during one to one and group therapy sessions. For those who feel that they do not know where to turn to, please get in touch with Caron at www.irecovery.com. Blessed journeys, Tim ...
