I absolutely adored the flowers she provided at the wedding, and she was also just really sweet about my describing various flowers, such as the craspedia or billy button, which I believe I called "a cute yellow pom pom thing." A LOT of my vendors wanted me to create pinterest boards so they could exactly duplicate my precise wishes--which is cool if you have a precise vision, but really hard when you don't. Shannon took my varied pinterest board and minimal guidance and created these gorgeous arrangements that look amazing in our photos, were great on our tables, and even listened on the day-of when the pinwheels and elements they had put on the arbor didn't fit what I thought we had discussed and quickly re-arranged things to place flowers there instead, minutes before the ceremony was meant to begin. Shannon even allowed me to deliver some photo charms for my mother in law's bouquet and one for my own to personalize the flowers. I just can't thank them enough for all the hard work, back-and-forth and guidance on who all and where all we would need flowers while still staying within our budget. Our wedding venue, a train car at Game Train USA, was already beautifully appointed with a Victorian, garden theme, but being a bit non-traditional as a wedding venue we knew we would need creative help turning it into the perfect location for our ceremony and brunch. I took to Google and Yelp in search of a florist that was known for their creativity. When I came across reviews for Nancy, I had a feeling she would be "the one" for us. We met Nancy at Game Train for the first time and after spending just an hour with her touring the venue and discussing our ideas we knew we'd found our creative visionary. Not only were we impressed with Nancy's ideas, she was absolutely lovely throughout the entire process. Nancy asked that I send her my inspirational photos, which she incorporated into her vision, so when she created a proposal for us, it was very much in line with what we wanted. Seeing the flowers for the first time on my wedding day was enough to start a flood of happy tears. Gorgeous seems like such an inadequate adjective. My bouquet was stunning; beautifully made with the most amazing garden roses, specially sourced by Nancy. She also created two lush, floral archways, large urns of greens and florals, and florals for the chandeliers and serving tables. After our wedding was over and the celebrations finished, Nancy came back and collected everything from the venue so that we did not have to worry with anything except leaving for our honeymoon. We didn't just have a florist for our wedding. We had a partner who was invested as much as we were, and who never let us down. If you're looking for the same, look no further. You've already found the best!
