I saw Dr. Deb on 4/18/22 as a new patient and plan never to see her again. After keeping me waiting for an hour Dr. Deb came in and said that she was catching up on her paperwork. I do not mind waiting for a doctor who may have an emergency, but Dr. Deb spent my time on herself. After the new patient survey was completed, I reminded Dr Deb that I was there for my annual exam. She said that she was planning to have me come back another time until I insisted on having the five minute exam that day. Once I saw the blood test results, I immediately sent Dr. Deb reports explaining one of the results. However, Dr. Deb did not respond to my email on the portal and just referred me to a specialist without speaking with me or reading my email. She never spoke to me about my test resilts, as she promised, nor did she address a specific concern included in my message. Unfortunately, Dr. Deb does not care about her patients and is just going through the motions. The only upside of this visit was that I was able to see my own blood tests and decipher them myself, but will need to wait until my next annual exam to have a conversation with an internist. Find a doctor who cares!

In fact, I've never waited longer than five minutes to see him, and if I'm there early, he's frequently ready to see me earlier. Second, he's thorough. I never feel rushed when we meet. He always asks "is there anything else?" and gives any new issues the same amount of attention and patience. The last time I was there, he reminded me that it was time for a flu shot, and gave it to me immediately. Third, he is willing to let his patients challenge him and to challenge them back. I am very pill-shy, and he will not only describe what the pills will do, but the side-effects - and how long it will take to recover. My spouse is the type who researches everything on the internet, and Dr. Diamond engages her in what information is accurate in her particular case. Finally, he builds relationships with his patients. I don't need to review my medical history with him. Dr. Diamond's secondary specialty is geriatrics, and I have referred several older friends to him, including some older gay men who are HIV positive. They have told me that he has helped them better manage their medications and provided useful information on health management. If you are in Flushing and looking for a new doctor, I recommend him. He's at Kissena and Holly, and there are 5 buses that stop in front of his office.

Because of that, we had to repeat the entire process and pay again elsewhere, which caused unnecessary stress and delay in his immigration case. This was a real visit with a civil surgeon at Weibo Medical Care, and the signed I-693 form clearly shows the doctor's name and exam date. I hope the office improves attention to detail on official forms, since even small mistakes can have serious consequences for immigration applicants. Update: After posting my review, this clinic tried to have it removed by falsely claiming that my husband was never a patient. We have receipts, appointment records, and the completed USCIS Form I-693 proving otherwise. When we first called about their documentation error, the receptionist was rude and dismissive, saying "you want it fixed, you pay for service again" and "it's not our fault, we don't need to fix it." She repeatedly cut us off, put us on hold, and refused to help until we mentioned filing a complaint with the New York Department of Health. Only then did they start responding -- citing irrelevant HIPAA excuses instead of correcting their own mistake. They still refuse to take any accountability or include us in the correspondence they claim to have with USCIS. They even told us my husband's varicella vaccine had "expired," which is medically and legally false, and forced him to pay for a new one even though it was already documented in his record. Their public response is misleading and does not reflect reality. This office lacks professionalism, honesty, and accountability. Red flags -- avoid.

I wish I got the assistant who took my blood but he struck up a warm conversation when I told him I had a fear of blood to distract me. He works with me to find the best customized treatment plan. Micah cares about me as a human and explains the effects of medications. He gives me plenty of time to answer any questions I may have. My previous experiences with psychiatric NPs have all been bad, so I set the bar pretty low. However the quality of care I have received from Micah has far surpassed what I have received from almost all psychiatrists I have seen.
