I was sent here on March 11, 2014 by my husband. I was so angry with him. I hated having someone with me at all times. When I came back home 4-11-14 I wanted a divorce I was so angry. We had over a year of counseling with our pastor and today we're good. I thank him for sending me now for I know he did what he felt was right. Thanks that I have accepted Jesus as my Lord and Savior. I know everything happens for a reason. My suggestion if you have a loved one who sustained a TBI first have them put on an anti depression medicine that will help them. Fortunately I never had to have my head cut open for it stopped bleeding the next morning but most people at Restore have and they will help them get back to the new normal. God Bless all the great people who put up with me for I was so full of anger I wasn't very nice. Jackie Lavelle I can only pray for all who cared for me have forgiven my awful nasty sometimes abusive behavior

For our family, the excellent program and caring staff at Restore have been a godsend. We have found both management and staff to be kind, responsive, and knowledgeable and with very little staff turnover. Our daughter has profound short-term memory loss but every single day she tells me again how much she enjoys Restore. We have eaten meals there with her many, many times and the food is very good and nutritious with several options for every meal. I don't believe I have ever seen them serve fried food and our daughter tells me every day what her evening meal was and how much she likes it. She goes on outings regularly, which she enjoys very much. The medical staff calls me for every incident of any kind that involves our daughter. The therapy staff members are extremely competent and able to discuss our daughter with me (I'm her guardian) in great detail. They KNOW her, respect her, and treat her like an adult. They accommodate family visits by driving her one-way more than 50 miles every other week (we return her in the afternoon). Restore has changed our daughter's life for the better and by doing so has given us great comfort that she is in good hands. We highly recommend it.

The virtual IOP option makes the treatment more convenient, but does not lessen the effectiveness. Reed, Krista and their team have been an absolute God send to me and my family. I have been involved in a couple of different approaches to recovery - I can truly say that…read moreCentered's approach has easily been the best and most effective for me. It would not be an exaggeration to say that the ideas and teachings I have learned here have been life changing. Unlike other (e.g. 12 step) approaches to recovery that teach the individual to view themselves as an addict, the curriculum that Reed and team have put together focus on the underlying processes and mechanics that are at the root of all addictions. A surprisingly little amount of time is actually spent talking about addiction directly, because the program is more broad and provides clients with a holistic new way of being in the world. Recovery from addiction is a natural secondary effect from this learning, but clients can expect to see meaningful improvements in nearly every aspect of their lives on their path to a life of greater peace and ease. The curriculum draws from numerous sources and is not dogmatic or limited by orthodoxy. Meditation, mindfulness, and a better understanding of one's true "self" stand out as cornerstones of the approach at Centered. I recommend Centered, without caveat, to anyone struggling with addiction, behavioral challenges, or mental health issues.

so i was here for 2 1/2 months and this place was great at first they really do make it seem like…read morethey care, i did have good experiences but i had bad ones to, i was at a confused/pause in my recovery and they say that happens, so i missed like 13 days but 3 of them i had notes for and 5 of them i made them up adding a extra week of php, but my point here is they kicked me out because of that only 2 weeks before my graduation, they didn't like that i wasn't doing recovery there way i was constantly being told im not progressing but ive passed every drug test they gave which was 3 times a week, we made a schedule for me to follow but im different i cant just follow a schedule, that was pinned against me and lastly they say they cant help me any more being petty because I didn't tell them why i took my own 2 days off, i feel used for my money and really disappointed in them who kicks someone out when they are about to graduate who cares if im not doing it there way im doing the damn thing, so i got up and left and the very unprofessional therapist said byeeeee like what so immature again not a horrible place but it went from feeling like they cared to lets just get rid of him since he wants to do sobriety his way, i should be able to do it my way and still get help from a place that supposed to care so they basically gave up on me and that felt really bad, how are you a rehab and you give up on people I didn't do any harm to anyone I didn't disrupt classes like that i engaged every time i was there and they just gave up on me i could be relapsing right now and they would not care so again i had a decent experience at first but at the end of the day i was another person they got insurance money from beaucse who kicks someone out 2 weeks before graduation, i personally because of that dont recommend a place that acts like they care and then give up on you but hey that just my experience they gave up on a friend of mine that went there and told him the same thing that they dont think they can help him anymore. Thanks for giving up on me summit wellness group i will prove you guys wrong.
