The facility and equipment blends traditional physical therapy lay-out and equipment, with functional training gear. I started coming to Fusion for rehab after a total hip replacement. Kelly, my therapist, always demonstrates a high degree of care, and a thoughtful approach to my program. I'm getting better so fast, I'm kinda dreading not needing to return. Fusion also offers strength training and other physical fitness instruction, as well as therapeutic massage. Highly recommended.

I've done physical therapy elsewhere, seen many doctors and suffered through a pricey injection in my lower back, without much improvement. Desperate to try something new to get some relief from the pain that radiated out of my lower back every day and woke me up most nights, I researched dry needling, and a lot of positive reviews led me to Fusion. Scheduling was easy; there's tons of parking and the space is cheerful and buzzing with activity. A lot of great people work at Fusion, and they're providing great service to people of all ages with all types of physical issues. I provided my history and MRI results to Barbara, and she got right to work. She asked a lot of great questions to help me articulate my pain and what exacerbates it the most. She observed how I navigated standing, sitting, twisting and bending movements that I didn't realize were affected by my back issues. She felt across my back and immediately identified tight areas and opportunities to increase my strength and mobility and reduce pain. It was extremely interesting and encouraging to witness her expertise at work. I got her one-on-one focused attention at every visit, and she continually provided solutions that worked for me - from exercises that improved my core strength to modifications I can make to my standing posture and movements that will help with pain that wakes me up in the middle of the night. Dry needling was fascinating. Barbara identified areas on back - different areas each time depending on my pain level and mobility on that day - and positioned the needles to trigger positive responses in my muscles. It was uncomfortable at times, but I quickly noticed improvement. Coupled with the activities and movements she prescribed to me throughout my therapy sessions, I am feeling better physically, and I am - for the first time in a while - optimistic for a future without constant pain. I continue to work the program Barbara gave me and apply the techniques she taught me to reduce my pain and improve my overall quality of life. I love Fusion and recommend it to anyone navigating a tough physical issue.

I cannot recommend highly enough the senior placement service provided by Where the Heart Is -- and…read moremore specifically, Melody Juneau!! Relocating my parents from NJ to GA was by far one of the most stressful times of both my own and my entire family's life. We are blessed to live in an area like Forsyth County where there are so many different senior retirement communities from which to choose. However, having so many choices can also make the search for the perfect one even more challenging. One of the things that attracted me most to Where the Heart Is, is the fact that it's a small, locally founded and owned company. The staff members live and work in this community and are very familiar with all of the facilities you might be interested in learning more about. To say that having the responsibility to find a new home for my parents was a tremendous amount of pressure would be an extreme understatement. Our advisor, Melody Juneau was an absolute God-send. During our first encounter, she spent over an hour on the phone with me, asking many, many questions about what was most important to both my parents and me with this transition from their NJ home of 35+ years, down to a completely different type of living situation here in GA. She asked, she listened, she understood -- and I felt such a sense of relief after having spoken with her just once. Based on that conversation, she then suggested several different communities to consider visiting. My understanding is that she does this for all of her clients; however, with my being in NJ attending to medical issues my mother was having, the fact that she made all of the arrangements with each facility, including calling ahead to make appointments and providing each sales director with our background and priorities saved us so much time. Not only that -- she accompanied us (my husband in person and myself via video) -- on every single visit. She acted as a go-between as needed and very importantly, educated us on what to look for, what questions to ask, etc. We quite literally could not have gotten through this without Melody and the Where the Heart Is team. Eight months later, I am ecstatic to report that my parents are thrilled with their new home and are thriving there. ...and as if all this wasn't enough -- because the communities are responsible for paying a referral fee directly to Where the Heart Is, there is absolutely no charge to families for this incredible and impartial concierge service. There's no sales pressure - which is what we would've been contending with on our own -- and we literally, at no cost to us, were gifted with our very own expert who held our hand from start to finish. I cannot thank Melody enough. My family and I will be forever indebted to her and I have absolutely no reservation recommending both her and Where the Heart Is to anyone in need of help with transitioning their older parents to a new living situation.

He lived alone prior to moving here and interviewed many places. We, as the family, have always been regarded as important. Suzanne is amazing and has always addressed any concern we have promptly and with my grandfathers needs as the priority. We know he's safe here and he's happier than he has been in years! Yes, older people can sometimes be a challenge, but they handle him with care and do what they can to make him feel like this is his home. I think the other reviewer on here may not be cut out for this line of work. I also noticed she's never reviewed anything in a positive light. 2 stars max. Don't let her review stop you from checking out Benton House. I cannot tell you how pleased we are with this place!

Suzanne and Chuck went out of their way to make the adjustment as smooth as possible. After a few short weeks, she loved it there. All the workers were extremely kind to her. We had a few minor hiccups with her medications, but that is to be excepted and they were quick to fix the problems. Eventually my mom was placed in their memory care and I was happy with the care she was given. They helped get my mom on hospice and kept me aware of the hospice staff and how they were doing. The biggest gratefulness I have towards Benton House is when my mom fell and fractured her back. We thought for sure she would have to be placed in a nursing home. They were wonderful to accept her back and told me this was her home. She died a few weeks later, but happy and grateful that she was able to live her final days in a place she eventually fell in love with.
