Before the massage I didn't mind talking to her through google translation since I'm very accepting of others. However, at times in middle of my massage she was a little to tough and it hurt. I said ouch, don't think she understood to go lighter and I wasn't going to use google translation in middle of my peaceful massage. My overall experience was great and was easily noticed by my difficulty in accepting that the massage was actually over ! Your serious??? That hour flew by! As a btw their price is phenomenal for one hour is 50 dollars! Oh, and don't forget to tip! To make a long story short, overall great experience with some language barriers!! However, that wasn't the case when I arrived. The teacher stopped by briefly, spending between 2 to 5 minutes showing the student what to do and left. She seemed quite rude to the student, creating a tense atmosphere. I was the only customer in that large room. I told them I needed to leave in 2 hours for dental surgery, pointing to my swollen face and explaining that I was in pain. The girl working on my hair was inexperienced--it was her first time doing this type of work. She was very nervous and almost shaking--poor girl. Meanwhile, three other students were sitting around, bored and doing nothing. I assume this school isn't free. What a scam! There was no "expert supervision," and as a result, my scalp was burning, and my hair looked awful and burned. It took over an hour to put partial color on my hair, and then I was told to wait 30 minutes before washing it out. After waiting, Ive asked the student to wash my hair. The teacher finally stooped by and noticed the mess on my head and instructing me to wait at least 15 more minutes. Well, I couldn't wait as I had to leave for my surgery, and my scalp was burning from sitting with chemicals for 1 hour and 40 minutes. She refused to let the student wash my hair mentioning that I had signed some paperwork and would leave when she said so. At this point, I went to the washer to wash my hair myself. The teacher was yelling, instructing me to leave immediately if I wouldn't allow them to complete the work and wait, and even shut off the water over my head. "I'll see you in court," I told them as I headed to the first bathroom to rinse the nasty chemicals from my hair with water before my surgery. At this point, three people were yelling and pushing me, accusing me of things I hadn't done. I was crying, shouting that I was in pain, just needed my hair being washed and leave. Unfortunately, no one listened or cared. Worse still, they called the police, accusing me of hitting someone. It was surreal--a nightmare. On my way to my car, they were excitedly taking my car plate numbers while talking to the police. I couldn't wait for the police as I had to leave for my surgery. After the surgery, still in pain , I contacted the police in person, planning to file a formal complaint.

Terrible experience. I had two appointments for gel manicures at 11:30a. They started my nails at…read more11:30 and my daughter had to wait for hers to start. They started to remove the gel polish from my nails and then the woman stopped working on my nails and started my daughter's gel manicure because "she didn't know how to finish mine". I could not understand if this was because I had a broken nail that needed to be fixed or if it was because I was growing out a gel fill (that I did not want to remove, even tho they tried to soak off my nails) and just wanted a gel manicure over the grown out gel fill. After waiting for 15 minutes, I asked how long it would be before someone continued working on my nails and I was told it would be another 15 minutes, 30 minutes after my scheduled appointment. I politely let them know that I had somewhere to be and I wouldn't have had the woman remove my polish if I knew I had to wait 30 min and the owner said that they had people call out because it was raining and they were understaffed. I replied that I wish someone told me that before they started on my nails or wish they had called me to let me know that they wouldn't be able to take my daughter and I at the same time or that I'd have to wait 30 minutes. After waiting I was seen by another man (who was very nice) and he asked me if I wanted to shorten my nails. I said yes, but just a little. Instead of a trim, he cut more than half off and made them on the shorter side. He fixed my broken nail and gave me a nice cat eye gel manicure. But, he clearly had trouble understanding me because at one point he was nicking my skin with the machine and I nicely explained that he was hurting me and he did not understand. I did not say anything else after this happened because I was so late for my next appointment and just wanted to leave. Last but not least, my daughter's gel manicure CHIPPED the same day she had her nails done. Photos attached. I definitely would not return to this salon.

My last 3 experiences were horrible and each one was worse than the other. They make it very clear that they do not except tips on cards...okay fine some places dont do that... but the have an ATM in the salon and dont tell me to go down the block to the barber shop to use the ATM. 1- one of my pedicures they had a young girl that had no clue what she was doing, she told me yes that the colors come in gel and regular so I could arch my toes and fingers....
