Most expensive regular pedicure ever. Prices are posted but charged me $15 dollars more than what is posted had some excuse saying regular spa pedicure is $55 dollars and gel spa pedicure is only $40. Really? The board says spa pedicure $40....its the same freaking polish... I watched the woman next to me get gel and it took the same amount of time...he ripped me off.. will never go here again. And they didn't even use a rasp on my heals like a real SPA pedicure elsewhere. read more

I'm new to the area and looked on yelp to find a salon with good reviews in the area. I tried Touch nails and had a horrible experience. I went in for a regular manicure. From the time I entered the establishment until the the time I left, they continued to try to up sale me into a gel manicure. This made me become extremely annoyed. I was directed to a guy a table 4. He never soaked my hands. He started to file and buff my nails, then he put lotion on my hand and then wiped them with a Luke warm clothe. After, he proceeded to ask me if I wanted to pay. I told him that I was not paying for the service he provided because I could have done that at home for free. Sb: I have not gotten my nails done in months so I know my cuticles needs to be cared for. He then cuts my cuticles and takes out the electric file which I had to tell him not to use on my natural nails. He rebuffs then and the sprays my fingers with alcohol. The polish job is horrible as you can see in the pictures. He directed my to dry my nails (regular manicure) under the UV light used for gel manicures. He repeatedly told me to be careful not to mess up my nails since I didn't get gel. $12 gone to waste. Salon is undergoing renovations. I'm not sure if that's the reason they don't have drying station or if they don't cater to regular manicures. They don't have a large range of color, very limited options. *******LAST UPDATE Originally i gave them five stars. My first experience was amazing. Second time around the women doing my nails rushed she left bubbles and marks in my nails and my beds are not clean at all they have polish all over them and I'm super disappointed. Thought i found my nail place but I guess now Very nice and welcoming staff. My manicurist was extremely apologetic when I had to wait just 5 minutes to be seated. The place was getting renovated but it dodnt take away too much from the experience. My nails are clean the beds are straight and well done. I have no polish on my fingers and I am so happy with the color. I came in with square tip nails and I asked if he could reshape them into almonds and they look perfect. I am so happy with my nails. I will update in 2 weeks to see how they held up UPDATE: after one week of working with my hands constantly as a makeup artist the gel manicure is holding up amazin 3 week update! I attached another photo this is CRAZY how amazing they held up. Ive only just begun to have any chipping. Getting a fresh manicure today! read more

I would give 0 stars if I could. The guy in seat 8 talked like he had a lot of experience but did not know how to do nails. He did a fill for me and after he was done drilling I asked him if he was going to drill off the part of my mail that was still lifting and he insisted it's fine and he was going to cover it up with acrylic fill! He also made each and every nail crooked and uneven. I've never been speechless before and always said something but every time I made a comment he shut it down with a remark of how I pretty much don't know what I'm talking about. Touch nails always does an amazing job on my nails. Prices are pretty good and I get an acrylic fill for cheaper than anywhere else! Walk ins are welcome however I definitely recommend making an appointment, especially on Friday evenings or Saturday afternoon. They have always accommodated me as a walk in, which I appreciate. Best pedicure and acrylic nails around. The owners Chaunsy and Lynn are amazing nail technicians. They are professional, fast and my nails come out perfect. I broke a nail last week and needed it fixed before I started work for the week. I went in at 7:15, (15 minutes before they close) and needed a fill but was just going to take the nail fix. Chauncey squeezed me in and finished my acrylic fill in 35 minutes. I absolutely love this salon!!! Almost a week later and they all still look perfect! Heidi gave me the best pedicure and foot massage I have ever had in my life! She was so nice to talk to during my service. I have this place 2 stars because, I do like the nail tech that did my pedicure, but the owner is another story. My daughter came with me and she is 8 years old. She got a change of polish on her hands and feet. When I went to pay the owner tells me I have to pay $20 because my daughter got a pedicure. Well to my surprise, I was sitting right next to my daughter and I DID NOT SEE the nail tech give a pedicure just change polish. The owner charged me for a pedicure because she was soaking in water and soap? Really?? They had us waiting for a while, so I had asked them to just put some water while my daughter was waiting. She never got a real pedicure before in a nail salon.........NO pedicure! She is 8, no cuticles, no massage, no filing, no cutting etc...... so after I asked the nail tech about my daughter, the owner comes and gives me 5 dollars back with an attitude! Can you imagine? The blonde store manager here is extremely RUDE to customers who have a nail tech who is VERY GOOD AND VERY NICE and very much enjoy seeing her!!! I have never seen such a rude individual in 40 years of getting my nails done professionally. This salon has lost business because of her, and she should resign. I only needed a simple repair, and my favorite nail Tech Mia was happy to do it if I could wait a little bit. I asked if I could come back in a few minutes and the rude store manager told me to come back in over an hour because she was busy and had another customer coming. My Tech was willing to take me in between and fix my nail, but this rude store manager butted in where she was not invited in the conversation, and she ruined my ever returning here again. read more

Touch Nails is your dependable salon. I have been coming here for pedicures only for the last three or so years and come about every 2-3 months to treat myself. It is always easy to get an appointment short notice and I rarely sit up front waiting for a pedi chair. The staff here definitely sets this establishment apart from many other Toms River salons. The atmosphere is more relaxed and inviting, the employees are never rude and always make an effort to chat with me. The newer massage chairs are wonderful and it is great that they allow you to sit and relax after you are done if there aren't customers waiting! I always receive a great massage and 9 times out of 10 the polish job is perfect. The coupons they put out in a local mailer can't be beat if you happen to receive them in the mail. If there was one thing to improve upon it would be more polish choices to keep up with the trends as I do not get Gel polish done. read more

The owner always does my nails, and my nails always look absolutely beautiful when he is done. They are very reasonably priced and don't try to rip you off like other nail salons. I go to Chonsi and he is absolutely amazing. I could bring a photo in of a design I want and he nails it every time (no pun intended). I came in for a manicure and pedicure earlier this week, and I was extremely disappointed. During the pedicure, my technician did not massage my legs at all like many technicians do in other salons. But overall it was an okay job. The manicure was the worst. She did not file my nails evenly, cut my cuticles, massage my hands and/or arms, and the polish job was god awful. She got the polish all over the tips of my fingers and it was clumpy by the time it dried. I'm not the type of person to make a scene and complain but I should have. I came home and took off the polish, that's how bad I didn't want to look at them. I'm not coming to this salon again. read more

The lady who did my nails spent more time on her phone and drinking coffee then she did at the table. It took her almost two hours to do my nails. I read the wonderful reviews and decided to call up for a mani/pedi. A gentleman answered the phone and said we can take you right now. I arrived 10 minutes later and stood at the counter. I wasn't greeted by anyone. I smiled at the two children behind the reception desk and stood smiling for a minute or so Then two women walked in behind me. A gentleman who was working on someone's nails greeted them swiftly and asked what service she was here for. She said a gel mani. He asked about the woman behind her, she said we're together and she's having a mani. All the while I stood there smiling waiting to be asked what service I was there for or maybe even a hello. Nothing. So, I left disappointed and still in need of a mani/pedi . Customer service goes a long way. Perhaps I don't look like the rest of the clientele in the establishment but I can assure you my money is still green and my tips are generous. But you'll never know. read more

My nails are always perfect & in a pinch they will do whatever they can to fit me in! Unlike other awful places like this disgusting Alpha nails I went to "sit at w/ my sister NOT get my nails done" so that's clear I was reminded how horrible not only attitudes but up charging for every little thing is! I have never dealt with getting charged different prices on every visit at Touch nails like has happened to my sister at multiple nail salons in tons River! Seems they all make up prices for extras as they go along from hearing all her horror stories! There is no nickel & diming here so you're safe!!! The place is also beautifully decorated & so relaxing! You're not sitting on top of other customers! The pedicures are phenomenal!!! And if you have time splurge & upgrade to the spa pedicure!!!! An hour of bliss!! Pick your scents and enjoy the massage of your feet & your massage chair! My best advice is make an appointment!! They are very busy & for good reason! I consider them family and love catching up on my visits! I will never go to another salon & joining my sister who I made walk out of that disgusting Alpha nails place has just reaffirmed I NEVER will!! I was very upset at the work done by this salon. I went in because of their coupon, which didn't apply for what I had done. The price was high for a gel mani and gel pedi, which I've had done at other local salons but was looking for one closer to home. Worse was the terrible job they did. the very next day the gel started to peel off my fingers. I have never had that happen so I think they must have rushed it. I took my granddaughter with me, overpaid for her too and hers peeled also. I would never recommend them or go again. I thought I'd give this place a try on my lunch break. Instant regret. My nail tech got the gel nail polish all over the sides of my fingers that I didn't notice until I walked out. Also, he broke a few of my nails and left it broken! He didn't even file the nail down. I had to run to a cvs for a nail file to fix it. My nails were rough and brittle when I left. Although everyone was very nice (besides a woman who kept walking back and forth giving me dirty looks), my fill in came out horrible. All of my nails are either crooked or either rounded while some are square. When the top coat was put on, my nails were still wet and the top coat smudged the paint color and it was not fixed. That was quite possibly the worst pedicure of my life! Here's why: they do not clean the sinks between clients, they were going to remove calluses with a cheese grater!, the nail polish is all mixed up and not all in the same place. tThe polish by the window is in boxes so you can't see what colors they are. The woman who did my nails had an argument with her husband (who works there) and walked away in the middle of the pedicure. There was minimal massage, and NO top coat. NEVER AGAIN! read more
