There were several findings and Gregg used his pool of professionals to come up with reasonable dollar amounts to request from the seller as compensation for needed repairs. With this thorough documentation in hand, the seller agreed to every penny. I then retained Gregg's services for the sale of my old home. With an acceptable offer quickly received, I swapped roles as my buyers submitted a dollar amount request for compensation based on the results of their inspection of my home. Skeptic that I am, I half expected Gregg to just say, "Remember how it went down when you bought? Just pay them what they're asking and be done with it." But no. As we talked, he keyed on my comment that I had employed the same roofing company throughout my years of ownership and he suggested that I have that roofer inspect my home and provide a repair estimate that might well be lower than what the buyers' inspector quoted.
