This review was long overdue since our project was completed in 2021.  We were impacted by the pandemic and everything that came along with it including the supply chain issues in 2021.  After looking through Yelp, Iron Activity had consistent reviews and 5 star rating by others, so we knew we wanted to work with Joey. We totally appreciated that Joey mentioned upfront that his work volume is high and that we would need to be flexible with our timeline. He came out a few days after we reached out to him to look at the our stairs and laid out his steps for us. Since our new floors were not installed yet we had to wait for it to be done before they can start work on the railings. Once our floors were in, Joey came out to measure and place tapes on the floor to mark where the posts will go into. The fabrication took about a month (we knew this upfront since he had explained it during the first meeting) so it was fine and he didn't leave us guessing like other contractors. It took a few days to installed because if you were there to see the workmanship, Joey and his guy took really good care of the entire installation. They covered the walls, they meticulously measured the space again and installed all the pre-fab pieces together onsite, sanding down the wood handrails and cleaned up at the end of each day. Wow, just an amazing job and the tremendous amount of effort that they put in to the final product. The price for the entire thing was reasonable for what we got. They finished the job in two working days within the same week. They fabricated new stainless steel stair railings, and they were able to weld them onsite for a fully custom build. It looks great.
