It seems like every day there are more and more places opening offering physical therapy ... most…read moreof them you should avoid. The Recovery Room Physical Therapy in Waldwick is one you should run to (if you can before you see the Dr.). You want a physical therapist who is exceptionally well trained, one who has a deep reservoir of experience, one who will devote the time to carefully assess your particular condition and then tailor a treatment plan specifically for you (not one size fits all), one who will not, when you walk in, hand you off to an assistant who will have you do mobility work that you can do on your own and finally a Dr. who you will see for the full allotted time for your visit. You get all this and more when you book an appointment with Dr. Daniel Vidaic. I have been to a few physical therapy offices over the years ... and when finally someone recommended Dr. Vidaic, I immediately realized what I had been missing. In addition to all of the above, after your particular issue is addressed. ... if you are interested ... you can get a great education on how you can take responsibility in this area for your own health. Dr. Vidaic is a lifelong exerciser who does not just tell you what to do but lives it. My particular issue when I first went to him was sciatic ... which has not reoccurred since my course of treatment ... but I have moved beyond this narrow focus and have come to rely on Dr. Vidaic to partner with me to maintain my ability, as I age, to engage in all the activities that I love thru monthly assessments/treatments with him. In short ... If you're looking for it, Dr. Vidaic can be a true partner in both addressing your immediate issue(s) and in the longer term, maintaining your physical abilities and healthspan.
