Lack of follow for correction of a cabinet drawer that is not even or even secure to the main cabinets. The cabinets were not painted in certain areas properly. Hector did not show up on time to make a correction as promised, and then he called me while I was driving to work. I understand if you're going to be late so communication is key. I have taken videos and sent them to his manager Antonio and Hector with no response. Hector came once to make the paint adjustments and to realign the drawer. The paint was fine, however the adjustment of the drawer was subpar. Other than that cabinets are well-made and beautiful. I still want the drawer repaired because it is not mounted properly and uneven. My general contractor, who is doing other things to my bathroom, pointed these imperfections out to me. Please see videos and pictures. Again my intent is not to ruin someone's business, but there's a lack of communication lack of follow up and some areas of lack of quality. I also did not get a receipt for my final payment.

I just received the worst load of firewood I have ever recieved. By far. First they attempted to…read moreleave a 1/4 cord delivery of piñon/juniper mix in a huge truck. They said their pickup was broken. The driver tried to back down my driveway and broke only a few branches before I stopped him. He wanted to back more but I like my trees with branches. So he dumped the load a couple hundred feet up at the entrance to the drive as I requested. I am a 78 y/o man with a bad back, but I like my trees. Many of the pieces of wood were too big to use in my fireplace, I will have to cut them. Many others were were chunks that won't stack well. Others were partially rotten and won't provide much heat.. I have a large pile of small pieces and baskets full of shredded juniper bark that the rodents can use to build nests if it isn't too late. Unfortunately I have plenty of kindling and I doubt there are enough rodents near my house to take all that bark. I am not sure how to dispose of it since I don't yet have a county burning permit and my trash service is limited. I suppose the upside is that I don't have to stack a lot of wood. It is a mess: there will residue around until spring, at least, since a real cleanup will take several days and there are other things I have to do.. To their credit, sorta, the 1/4 cord of wood was very large, but now I have to deal with it all. I guess I could hire someone (at about the same cost as the wood). Never again!

Dave showed up this am...2 Nov 2023...and had me on HIS calendar for that date...today. All I can surmise is that my calendar entry was in error and my review untimely. My apologies to Dave and to whomever monitors the Yelp site. Dave was thorough, respectful, had questions and took many measurements of the project. I fully expect that he will get back to me with a bid. Again, my apologies. It was my bad. Given the reviews I read here, I had very high expectations for Dave Campbell. Sadly, like so many in this industry, we talked on the phone, committed to a day and time for him to come to my home and discuss my construction needs...simple and straight-forward...and he no-showed me. No call, no re-scheduling, no apologies. Threw me under the bus. I am really, really tired of this treatment...and my belief in contractors is tanking.

David was patient for a couple years during the covid crisis as we went on and off the market and awaited a prospective buyer for this big job/investment. Great communication. Clear. No nonsense throughout the process. When we got our buyer and green lighted the project, he completed the everything quickly, correctly, with pride in his work, ahead of schedule and on quote. This satisfied our buyer on an issue that could have scared them off and we closed our sale on time. He fulfilled all his promises, working with the structural engineer so we got a perfect post-repair report. We also had a plaster repair crop up related to some plumbing work and he and his crew knocked that out quickly and with polish, matching and blending the repaired area to the existing paint. Lovely work. We couldn't be happier. On the Level completely lived up to their name. Highly recommended!

It finally got here and they proceeded w the work. He said it was done to his satisfaction and expected payment. I paid him in Cash for the full amount. We discussed there was a trim piece missing (see pic) and he, Bud Snyder the owner, assured me it would get that done asap when they got the piece. I should NOT have paid him until the 5 foot trim piece was put on but I thought I could trust him for it. It's been over a year now. I've tried calling him and left a message. I tried talking to him in person and he was very RUDE and disrespectful in front of my adult daughter. Would I hire him again? No.

They were not the least expensive, but they were competitive, so we chose them based on their honesty about materials, installation and how long it would take to procure and ship the parts to Albuquerque. I am a civil engineer myself. the material took six months to arrive and Bud kept us informed during that interim. Once it came in, Bud's crew took three days to install. The selected pergola is certainly the right one and they did a great job installing it and also correcting a problem in our patio paver floor that makes the work even better for a very reasonable cost. The crew is clearly talented and savvy, work hard and were always on time. The finished work is excellent - could not be more pleased.
