Beyond his brilliant eye for design and great ideas for materials, Sven was an invaluable partner in managing the renovation itself. Our project turned into a bit of an archeological adventure--we discovered so much hiding under the walls of our old adobe kitchen--but Sven served as a constant guide. Whether it was navigating floor or countertop choices or troubleshooting design issues as they popped up during the work, he was always there to help coordinate with our contractors. In fact, he was so skilled and helpful that even our own contractors were impressed; they actually added him to their roster of design consultants. I have mixed feelings about this company. I ordered Custom cabinets back in mid September and there…read morehas been Lack of clear communication regarding layout and design. Lack of follow for correction of a cabinet drawer that is not even or even secure to the main cabinets. The cabinets were not painted in certain areas properly. Hector did not show up on time to make a correction as promised, and then he called me while I was driving to work. I understand if you're going to be late so communication is key. I have taken videos and sent them to his manager Antonio and Hector with no response. Hector came once to make the paint adjustments and to realign the drawer. The paint was fine, however the adjustment of the drawer was subpar. Other than that cabinets are well-made and beautiful. I still want the drawer repaired because it is not mounted properly and uneven. My general contractor, who is doing other things to my bathroom, pointed these imperfections out to me. Please see videos and pictures. Again my intent is not to ruin someone's business, but there's a lack of communication lack of follow up and some areas of lack of quality.
