I used to come to this street fair more often but now gravitate towards the Oside one on Thursday…read more Omgah, it's Thursday lol. But back to the review, please take time to go on the first week of May! There was around 500 vendors, I might be wrong but it was about six blocks full of fun things to be found. They do need some more things for men but then again, women are more in to shopping as a collective. If you love jewelry, small business finds, and food, it's definitely something I will be coming back for. I can't wait to go next year and replenish my earring collection. Recently started to collect them! We also had the most amazing freakin cake!!!! OMGAH!!!! I promise, if you like a cake that isn't dry, even a coffee cake that isn't dry, this company is worth ordering from! I am going to be ordering some yummy gifts for people in the future. It's called Dolce Monachelli's they do have a website and it's the best Bundt cake you will ever have. They have a cute sampler you can always get as a gift bc I will be gifting with these cakes! I think this is the best cake I've ever had! Sorry I don't have picks of the cake lol it was just too good and I forgot.

If you're looking for catering for an event, I highly recommend Blade 1936. Chef Angelo was amazing…read moreto work with from start to finish. I needed food for a last-minute backyard wedding for 40 guests with only three weeks' notice, and he made everything so easy and stress-free. He was always quick to respond, incredibly helpful, and gave me so many menu options--even offering to customize dishes beyond the menu. We ended up with an incredible spread: antipasto, chicken piccata, salmon, salads, two pasta dishes, vegetarian-friendly options, pizza for the kids, and cannolis for dessert. Everything was absolutely delicious, and our guests couldn't stop talking about how great the food was. Angelo personally delivered everything right on time, hot and ready to serve, and even provided serving trays and utensils which made presentation simple and beautiful. There was more than enough food for everyone, plus plenty of leftovers. It may have been a simple backyard wedding, but the food was anything but simple. Highly recommend Blade 1936 for any event--you won't be disappointed

Wanted to try a new Italian place for a date night and landed on Blade 1936…read more The host and servers were all very nice which was good. The chef came out to speak to every table as well. We ordered Brussels sprouts for our appetizer. It was pretty standard. We love Brussels sprouts so it was good but it wasn't particularly crispy and was very basic with just salt and pepper I believe. We enjoyed it but felt it wasn't worth our money because we could make something similar at home. For our mains we got the carbonara pizza and the papardelle bolognese. The carbonara pizza was not exactly what we were expecting. We had envisioned a creamy carbonara sauce with Parmesan on the pizza but instead there was just fully cooked egg on top. We also felt that the topping to cheese ratio was off. We preferred less cheese and more toppings. The crust was thick and if you like thick crust you may like the pizza they have here. The papardelle has good flavor but the pasta was a little bit overcooked. Overall, we felt that this restaurant was average hence my rating. We felt that the value of the meal was not as good as some other places we've been to in the past. We likely won't return and I don't think I would recommend this place over others.
