Service was slow. Took almost 2 hours to get our food. Tasted great but it was a bit overpriced.

Went recently. The owner spent the whole time visiting at tables. He came to us about three times and was very interesting to talk to. Also was very transparent about his ventures purchasing the Ironworks and The Mill in Tillsonburg. Unfortunately our prime rib didn't meet their standards this time. Very disappointing. I should add that five seniors changed tables to allow my wife table access with her wheelchair. Very nice display of "love thy neighbour". read more

Went here for a late dinner. Grabbed the spaghetti. Phenomenal. They had a guy playing music which was great. I recommend this place if you want a bar restaurant that serves more than bar food. read more

Amazing food, the owner said hello as well. Weird thing is that a lot of the people there were filming and reviewing the place, the nice part is the almost all of them gave them 5 stars. (I wasn't eavesdropping they were just speaking loud, like the influencers they were) Good food, GREAT service, the waiters were amazing, and the building has a bit of an old-time kinda modern look to it which just brings it ALL together. We had such a lovely experience at Ironworks. It was a Saturday night and they were busy and short staffed. However, they let us know the situation up front which makes all the difference. The atmosphere is modern but very welcoming. We are from Atlanta, GA, so welcoming can be very difficult to parallel this far north! But the staff was just amazing. We were able to get a table at the bar. We enjoyed some lovely glasses of wine while we waited to order. It took a little while before they were able to take our dinner order, but the service while we waited was the best. We had several lovely ladies taking care of us. Dinner was delicious. I had the Ironworks burger and my husband had the Fish and Chips. Such a great value for what you're getting. We highly recommend Ironworks. Thank you for a lovely evening! read more

I am writing a review for this coffee shop in order to flag it - for myself and anyone else that might be in the Woodstock area. If you drink coffee or tea, and if you eat baked goods when you do drink your beverage, or if you drink wine or beer some evenings, this is a MUST DO destination for you! I love the decor and the ambiance of the place. The interior has that "unfinished" yet done look - the walls are all exposed brick. The tables have pipes for legs, and the exposed wood on the chairs and tables has that distressed look - although they are all brand new. And I gather that they paint different messages that pertain to the season on the front window (we were here around Remembrance Day so the message pertained to that.) Service was good as well as welcoming; coffee and food were also good - I had a Peach Scone (see picture :-O!!) which was perfectly crumbly and it was tasty. The coffees have humourous names - like "F'n Dark" coffee. They've been open for some months now, but it was new to me, and I look forward to going back next time we are in Woodstock. read more

Fresh, new cafe with a liquor license Decor is interesting with old brick internal walls, open ceiling joists, steel I-beam allows creates access between takeout area and seating. Beautiful café with amazing service and great food! If you are vegan they have some very tasty options - they have vegan cheese and will modify their other foods for you. As well, they have live performances many times a week. When in Woodstock this is definitely the place to eat at. Side note: the only reason they didn't get 5 stars is because their vegan options go really fast and they didn't have any when I got there. Although they edited nachos to be vegan for me. read more

Horrible service!! The atmosphere is nothing more than a ma and pa shop or tavern but the prices seem quite high for what is being offered. My husband and I sat for at least 15 minutes before we were approached by a server with water, she couldn't take our drink order at that time but said she would be back. We sat and watched while another girl, a hostess or maybe a bus person, cleared off a table and completely ignored us. Another couple was seated and given water immediately. As we waited for the waitress to come and take our drink order we watched as she approached the newly seated couple and took their order, again completely ignoring us. At this point we got us and left, we told the hostess, on our way out, why we were leaving and she couldn't have cared less. No apology or explanation just an "oh" from her. I can't comment on the food because we didn't get to order anything before we walked out. There are so many great restaurants in Woodstock so my advice would be, avoid Ironworks and give your business to restaurants in town who deserve your business. My friends and I had dinner here. Service was very slow. We sat down and ordered drinks and bruschetta to start. It took over 30 minutes to get our first appetizer and over an hour to get our main course. We got the chipotle Mac and cheese, black truffle Mac and cheese and a chicken Cesar salad. The chicken was dry, however the Mac and cheese was quite filling and good. Portion sizes were large. The Mac and cheese saved this review from getting fewer stars. read more

Let me start off by saying that the Ironworks in Woodstock was a great experience I made a reservation a day before walked into the doors was asked if I had a reservation was seated immediately!! I was on a first date and the energy and the music and the ambiance was amazing our server was great and left us alone to talk and chitchat and get to know each other... there was no pressure for having to order now or get this done and push you out the door!! We had all the Time in the world I truly appreciate that so our server gets a 10 out of 10!! The food was awesome!! Unique flavours and combinations I've never had before that I tried and loved!! I got the dill burger with sweet potato tots and I have to say it has to be one of the top five burgers I've had in my life!! A little messy but what burger of that esteem isn't?!! This place gets 10/10 and worth every penny of the reasonable price I paid!!! You can go and spend half the price at a fast food restaurant and sit in your car and listen to your own music but this was an experience I'll never forget thank you so much for helping me accomplish the great first date!! Everything is delicious at Ironworks!!! One of the best places to eat at! Service is great, friendly and efficient! Cocktails were very good, so were the apps, and main coarse! Fair price for what we ordered! Our favourite place to go when we are in Woodstock!!! read more

Great little spot downtown Woodstock. Went for a girls' nite on Thursday, Sept 24th. Good fun. Fish and chips were amazing! And the margaritas were delicious. We sat outside in a little nook which kept us warm, out of the wind and still in the fresh air. read more

Lunch with a drink. Have had everything in Woodstock and this is my favorite. Fresh bread on my sandwich.
