I stopped in for the first time a few weeks ago. I wanted to see what the hype was with the Hokas and the Onclouds as I only wore Adidas. I was greeted by Jamie who is just the BEST! She is so bubbly and patient and knows her shiz about the difference of every shoe in the store! After trying on soooo many pairs.. I found the one ! They didn't have the color I wanted so she ordered it and they were there in a few days. Now I see what the hype is about .. I'm a Hoka girl now and a new and soon to be repeat customer!! Very disappointing experience. I purchased a pair of shoes through this seller's eBay store and immediately contacted them after receiving the shoes because they had a defect. I was told the purchase was nonrefundable and that I needed to deal directly with the manufacturer. I contacted the manufacturer, but they needed information about the seller in order to help with an exchange. I went back to the seller several times, but they became unresponsive and would not provide the information I needed. I ultimately had to get rid of the shoes and take a $150 loss. I understand the eBay store and their physical store may technically be separate businesses, but from a customer's perspective, they represent the same company. Unfortunately, I was left with a defective product, no meaningful assistance, and a $150 loss. I would not purchase from this business again. read more

I was in town for the Holiday and I must say this place was amazing. I've never had such personalized service with buying a pair of running shoes In my life. They have all the latest brands and really know there stuff. They have a treadmill in the back to try your new shoes on and they take the time to educate you. This is something the big box stores don't have. It truly separates them from all of the rest. They simply care about the customer and will go the extra mile. They have a great return policy as well. While I was trying on shoes there was a lady who came in as her dog ate her shoe sole: if you went into any other store they would most likely laugh at you. What did this store do? They actually found her a pair of new soles for free. Who does this... this place does! Will always always shop here even though I don't live in the state, they will always get my business because of the great staff! read more

I got another pair of Hokas about two weeks ago at iRun. I actually waited until we were back up in Saratoga so I could shop there again. The young lady who waited on me (sorry I forgot her name) was great! Not only did she help me find a pair of cross trainers I loved but she showed me a trick to lace up your shoes if you have small ankles so the back does not slip. She showed me how to do it while she laced up my new pair so I could used that trick on my other Hokas. Fantastic customer service again !!! read more

i was really impressed with the genuine knowledge and concern by the young lady who helped me find the correct walking shoes. I had indicated that I was dealing with Sciatica and she pointed me in the right direction! I desperately needed a new pair of sneakers- I walk 10 miles a day at work on concrete and tile. I went into this place and they had exactly what I had in mind for great sneakers. I typically don't like reviews but I am also normally wary of local running store fandom and had that challenged when I went to iRun in Saratoga. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. I'm a fairly seasoned runner so I had a good idea of what I was looking for. They worked with me to find a shoe that suited my needs, and I ended up buying a pair of Newton Fate IIs. I love this shoe and continue to buy them. The only reason I'm not giving five stars is because, at the time, the selection was almost wholly Newton. I am fortunate in that it worked out for me but I dislike having to drive to Albany for a decent shoe selection for whenever I need to buy something "off brand" (like Brooks, Asics, Saucony, Nike, New Balance -- pretty standard stuff that I expect to see in a shoe store.) I was in the store a month ago and bought my wife some Goodr sunglasses which she loved. I accidently broke them a month after she got them. Since we are not from the area, I called Jamie at iRunLOCAL. Luckily they had the same design in stock and she took my information over the phone and shipped the glasses out to me next day delivery. The customer service was outstanding. I can't wait to be back in the area and visit the store again. I can't rave enough about this store. When they first opened I bought a pair of Newtons from them. The lady who owns the store was absolutely so lovely and helped me find a pair. I'm not even a HUGE runner so the advice helped. I bought a pair of shoes from fleet feet last summer and the shoes themselves were ehh. So I decided to come here again this summer to get another pair of Newtons. First off Newtons ROCK. and the lady that helped me (I forgot her name) was so attentive and nice I was very appreciative. Honestly, the store itself is amazing but if you think about how much this store does for the community of Saratoga you want to love it even more. They give back so much to Saratoga putting on all kinds of fun events (I've been to a couple of the Scavenger hunts) and this is the kind of establishment we need in Saratoga! Not only is it great for beginners to elite runners, the couple that owns the shop are two of the nicest people I've ever met. Kudos to you!!! read more
