We arrived right when the Farmers Market opened at 8am. Although the parking lot is huge and there are plenty of spots to park, you'll still find that it can get super chaotic. Just go all the way to the back and you'll find plenty of spots. As we walked in, we saw a super long line for the variety of meat being sold at Buy Ranch Direct. Large varieties of Asian vegetables were available at many stalls and I spotted some of the same vegetable vendors from the Long Beach Farmers Market. We loved the variety of food vendors and stopped for some freshly cut and fried Belgian Fries with Garlic Aioli. Perfectly crispy with a super garlicky and delicious aioli. We sampled the Galbi from the Meatbox which was so tender. We wanted to purchase some meat from their freezer section, but it was too hot out to keep in the car for an extended amount of time. They also have a brick and mortar store in Fullerton. Overall, this Farmers Market is spacious enough not to feel crowded. I would definitely come back. One thing I found odd was that there was no place to sit to eat. No benches and no tables. Everyone was sitting on a curb. read more

What an immensely enjoyable experience to meander through the vast array of vibrant farm stands, ecclectic food purveyors and crafts vendors at the spacious and welcoming campus of Maritime Church. The ginormous Youth Parking Lot was set aside and carved into adjacent and interconnecting streets of tented vendors selling everything from the immensely popular Belgian FRITES to kBBQ, Nitro Cold Brews to the enormously popular fresh Coconut MILK, fresh cut micro-greens to illusive asian bitter melons, crunchy white peaches to perfectly popping blueberries, specialty local honey to hand crafted hats and woven baskets. Live music kept tempo with a happy Saturday morning throng from all walks of life. I haven't been here since COVID and was so happy to hear that it has been back in full force! Years ago, my favorites were Mama Musubi, the fresh juice place, and the guy who sold pecan granola! The size of the rice balls at Mama Musubi shrank, but I understand why in this awful economy that doesn't do much for small businesses. They were still yummy. The fresh juice place is still there, and I love their red juice that includes beets! It went up from $5 to $8. I still had to get it because it's so good. The granola guy wasn't there, but there was a lady selling granola. Small bag for $12, but I still bought it, and it tastes good with my yogurt. The handmade bagels are good. I just won't buy too many because they are super dense. Eating half is like eating one regular bagel. The rosemary salt and blueberry ones were my favorite. But everything bagel had already sold out by the time I got to him which was before 11 AM! The star of the show is the Belgian style fries! They are so heavenly--I can't even. They are just...I'm going to be dreaming about them for a week. I'm so glad I got the medium instead of the small. I don't know what they do to them; I didn't read the sign, but man are they delicious. They come really cute in a cone-paper that looks like newspaper. I will get these every time. The macarons are tasty and super cute. Only $2.50 for a regular one and $3.50 for a decorative one. Very reasonable prices. The Italian ice was super tiny and cost $7. It was tasty, but I can't afford that price for such a tiny amount. It looked smaller than a kid size and super sweet. The girl working was super friendly and nice. The owner didn't even bother to say hello at all. Bizarre. I will be coming back to this farmers market when I can. The parking is atrociously horrendous, so be prepared for that. Bring your own bags or a rolling cart. You will find a lot of treasures. We didn't even go through the veggies and eggs. There's lots to see and sample. I need to go back to buy some pies. I had high expectations for my first visit to the Irvine Farmers market and it didn't disappoint! For starters, it is mostly produce and eggs, so if you're going with intentions to grocery shop, this is your spot! There are also handfuls of food vendors and a couple vendors selling cute trinkets and such. We found a vendor that sells handmade crocheted items and miniatures THAT ARE SO CUTE and couldn't resist making a purchase. They also had a "sister vendor" that was selling scratch made granolas, cookies, nuts, and mango sticky rice (they were actually related and we thought it was so endearing) also had a make a purchase there because her products were too tasty to not buy! One sample and we were hooked. Oh! And there's also a coffee stand so for those that like to sip and walk, they've got your covered. A couple other standout food stalls: Onigiri stall Korean bbq Frites The market is in the parking lot of the mariners church, and the church grounds itself was gorgeous and we took a nice stroll through it afterwards! Total time spent at the market- 1 hour (pretty decent for a trip to the farmers market. For those that drive here to make it a place to visit I'd say it's pretty worth the drive) The one thing to be aware of THEY DON'T ALLOW DOGS. So save yourself the vibe killing moment where one of the folks managing the event comes up to you and asks you to leave. This is a huge farmer's market! I saw the reviews but was still surprised at how many booths there are. Lots of options for fruits, veggies, eggs, honey, nuts, meat, etc. There are also stalls making snacks and drinks too. Some booths only take cash while others take card or venmo. A special Saturday morning treat, this place operates from 8am-12pm right in the parking facilities of Mariners Church. My favorite way to start a visit here is by hitting up the food stalls for a light to hearty brunch. Ranging from musubis to Belgian-style friesa and Bolivian pies, Kbbq, dumplings, all the way to assorted Spanish tortillas and crepes, there is no shortage of tempting options. You'll also find artisan and specialty goods and foods like baked goods, vegan desserts, thirst quenching coconut drinks, kombucha, beef broth, hot sauce, "hummus hummus", and even bonsai trees. Each awesome vendor is represented by friendly people who are so passionate about their craft and food. This is a bigger farmers market with a lot of produce and food options to choose from. The ambiance is lively, and most of the stalls had samples to try, which made it fun to walk around and discover new things. I was able to find some Taiwanese veggies that are usually hard to come by, along with some fruits that were really fresh and sweet. I grabbed food from The Pie Guys, their meat pies are super flavorful and delicious. I also got fries from the Fry Fix, which were good too. Overall, it's a good farmers market with great variety, and parking wasn't hard to find. Such a beautiful sunny morning at the farmers market. I really enjoy how easy the parking is and being able to walk around and take in the peaceful Mariners Church campus. There's a playground and plenty of tables to sit, relax, and enjoy a little break after shopping. The farmers market had so much to offer fresh produce, fruit, eggs, honey, plants etc. and a great variety of friendly food vendors. There is also free entertainment to live music. Every Saturday from 8 AM - 12 PM, a little lively town is created in a church parking lot. I'm lucky enough to be able to walk here from home so I don't have to worry about parking. This place gets crowded! They have a parking garage that can get filled up so it's quite popular. I love this farmer's market for the sense of community it brings. Hardly anyone is on their phones and people are interacting - such a lost art! There is live music while you peruse the seemingly endless vendors. You can get everything here- fresh coconut milk, flowers, food vendors, sea moss, raw desserts, grass fed meats, wild caught seafood, tons of fruits and veggies, salami, bread, honey, propolis, soaps, lotions, the list could go on! The Irvine Farmers Market on Saturday mornings is awesome, no wonder it's one of the best ones around. The moment you walk in you are greeted with rows of fresh organic produce and or amazing food vendors that set the mood. The layout flows naturally in an L shape where depending on where you start, it's either produce first or food stalls first. I went with my son and we had a great time tasting our way through the stalls. The dumplings spot was good. They were lacking in the stuffing but still tasted good. The spam musubi from Mama Musubi ended up being my favorite bite of the day. The spicy masubi was my son's fav but for me the regular one wins. I also grabbed a ramen meal kit to take home and cooked it that night. It had all the toppings needed so making it right made it taste delicious. There is so much to enjoy here from local honey and jams to baked goods, gourmet cheeses and fresh coffee. Every stall feels like its own discovery. This is the kind of market where you want to take your time and sample everything. I cannot wait to go back and try even more vendors. read more

The king of farmers's markets! The variety of fresh produce, eggs, meat, bakery, crafts, prepared food and prepared beverage vendors is almost overwhelming. If they don't have it, it probably doesn't exist (almost!). What's great is that if you want, for example, strawberries, there's more than half a dozen stands that have them so you can choose based on size, ripeness, price, etc. The most popular prepared food may well be the fresh french fries, but the hidden jam here are the pupusa's, which you're not only delicious but served generously with fresh avocado, veggies, sour cream, and salsa. My wife shopped at Arnett Farm's stand at the Irvine Farmers Market on Jan 3, 2026. She bought a bag of plums, then went back and bought a second bag. As she was leaving, a staff member stopped her and accused her of stealing a bag -- while she was carrying our 5-month-old. She explained exactly what happened, but the staff insisted she'd stolen them. When she asked for an apology, the cashier/manager stepped in and told her she was "being ridiculous.". We paid by credit card both times. Here's the part every shopper should note: they never offered a receipt either time. Because of that, my wife had nothing on hand to immediately prove the second purchase, and they used that gap to treat a paying customer like a thief. We'd been loyal customers for a long time. After being publicly accused and then brushed off when we simply asked for an apology. Always ask for and keep your receipt here -- without it, you may find yourself accused of stealing something you just paid for. I think this maybe the biggest Farmers Market I've been to thus far in Orange County. Definitely the largest for organic produce which is rare because farmers's markets are typically majority local farmers but not necessarily organic. Grabbed some organic white nectarines which were delicious, cost me $7.50 for 4, a bit pricey. Was really hunting for some sourdough bread but sadly they didn't have a vendor there, they only had one vendor forgot the name but mediocre IMO, so that was disappointing. Also grabbed some blackberry balsamic vinegar for $18, I didn't realize that you can also purchase this in Amazon, though for a higher price like $24 I think, it's decent but probably won't buy again. Also got a large bag of roasted peanuts for $6, also yum! Cute place just to chill on Saturday's especially because they have a park next to it and tables to just hang. Actual restrooms available too that's always a plus. Plenty of parking too, it gets really busy though but will certainly come back. read more

This is in the parking every Saturday at Mariner's church. There is a wide selection of everything! Including ready made lunches to eat, skincare, bags, and beautiful flowers. The prime focus for me is getting farm grown local produce, fruit, and meats/fish where possible. The best investment you can make is into your health. So why cheap out on low quality food, or spend a lot at certain* organic grocery stores where the pricey produce is lacking? This is better, and costs less! The farms that provide fresh produce here are top tier - and if you haven't had produce picked fresh and eaten them right from the ground - the taste and freshness cannot be compared ! My husband and I moved from Ventura County, where we had a local farm we would buy most of our produce from. So we were only too happy to finally find a farmer's market where we could get the same. It's consistently busy, so I would recommend coming with a wagon (if you're like me and want to buy everything that's fresh!) We even found a stand that has fresh herbal teas and body care products (the hand salves and lip balms were amazing), flower stands with absolutely stunning things like orchids and beautiful bonsai trees), stands with fresh dips, local bakeries. If you want to blow your whole paycheck, just come here! The prices aren't outrageous considering everything in Orange County and California are costly, but there's just so many things to try, it's hard to resist! read more

Great location, plenty of parking, and set up in such a way that even in a crowd it's easy to navigate. I always bring two bags and end up feeling like a pack mule by the end of it. Most people bring a wagon or cart - do yourself a favor and be one of those people! There's PLENTY of fresh produce - both staples and seasonal. There's a great selection of canned, baked, and freshly made food. Also cut florals and potted herbs and veg. One of my favorites is the microgreens booth - you name it, they've got it. I typically get there a few minutes before 8 (the posted start time) and there's already plenty of people shopping. The longest line at all times is the La Bahn Ranch fresh eggs booth, for good reasons. These eggs are legendary! Other long lines include Dry Dock Fish Co and Meet the Source. Have fun! Wear comfy shoes because it's going to take a while to see everything. The vendors offer good service and are always kind. One thing to note is that it's in Mariners Church parking lot so when they have a special event they will close the market-which is great. Great selection of fresh vegetables, fruits, food, and artsy stuff. Tip: enter from Newport Coast Drive to avoid a lot of traffic and many pedestrians. The main entrance from Bonita Canyon Drive is often so crowded that market traffic can tail back and block the junction. Arnett's has a huge fresh and dried fruit selection. The exotic fruit stall is a good place to buy cherimoya, sapote, and other fruits! Mama Musubi, Koko Moo, Cali Pie Guy, and Kettle Korn with their sweet roasted corn booth provide great prepared food. There a a spot to get coffee , some stands for different plants and succulents and even a trailer with a person that will sharpen your knives while you wait or shop. Parking is hit or miss. Irvine Farmers Market at Mariners Church on Saturdays is my favorite farmers market. Santa Monica is famous for their Wednesday farmers market but I'd much rather go to this one! There are a lot of vendors selling fruits, vegetables, eggs, meat, seafood, flowers and so much more. The walkway is pretty wide so you never feel like it's too crowded to maneuver. If you're looking for cheap produce, you won't find it here. You will find a lot of fresh produce, some organic, some not. The vendors are very friendly and eager to assist if you have any questions. Most vendors take credit cards, though some have an extra service fee if you use your card. Parking is super easy as there is a parking garage and a large lot. read more

Happy to finally go to the Irvine Farmers Market at Mariners Church. This is the biggest farmers market I've been to and I was pretty excited to see everything. Compared to the The District one, this has sooo many more options for produce and already made goods. Lots to explore! Parking is pretty easy - if you don't mind a small walk then you'll never have issues with parking. Walk itself isn't even far..like a few minutes tops. Upon entering, you'll see some cute florists shops and then it's ALL produce. You have a wide variety of fruits, veggies, mushrooms, cheese, etc. I was excited to also see several vendors selling Asian veggies too! Pricing can be more compared to your traditional market (it's about $3 per bundle/pound here). If you're looking for smaller quantities though this is a good way to get it instead of the pre-bagged stuff at grocery stores. All the veggies from every vendor looked very fresh and didn't seem like they were going bad. Fruits were also very fresh and some even allowed samples! It's a lot to look at so I recommend to give yourself an hour if it's your first time. Staff here are very friendly and open to help you out. It's unfortunate this isn't as close to me as I'd want it to be but making the trip here once in awhile is worth it. Always nice supporting local businesses! As we were walking around the farmers market, my friend said there were very strong Irvine vibes. Overall I loved this farmers market, and it's the biggest one I've been to so far, with one area for prepped food and another for produce. I came to specifically buy some heirloom tomatoes and got some for $5/lb but I wish I brought cash, as there were stands selling them for less (like $4/lb) but they were cash only. Also should've remembered to bring my reusable grocery bag haha, had to ask for some plastic ones.
