They answered our questions and gave us information about the farm. The barn is on the smaller side, but there were still plenty of animals to see, including ponies, goats, chickens, and sheep. Outside, we also saw a turkey, horses, cows, and a pig. We visited around 11:30 a.m. on a Friday, and at one point we had the entire barn to ourselves, which made it especially enjoyable with our little one. Storytime for little ones is offered on Tuesdays and Fridays at 10:30 a.m. After visiting the animals, we explored the produce market and were impressed by the variety. They had fresh fruits and vegetables, delicious pastries, breads, jams, and lots of other tasty snacks to browse. If it's your first visit, I'd recommend going during one of their scheduled activities so you can experience the tractor ride as well. There was plenty of parking, and I appreciated that they had a changing table available for babies and toddlers, which made the visit even more family-friendly. Since my friends and I wanted to have the experience of picking blackberries as well, we each paid the extra $7.50. However, when we arrived at the farm, the staff member was very rude and told us there were no blackberries available for picking. Instead, they gave us two boxes to pick more strawberries instead of blackberries. My group felt very disappointed about what happened today, and we wonder why the farm would still offer blackberry picking in the online booking system and charge extra for it when they were not prepared to provide it. But that's okay -- my family will not be returning to this farm again.

It's a decent alternative if you can't go to the Thursday Farmer's Market at the Fairgrounds which is closed during the OC County fair from mid July to mid August. Price for the produce was #3.50 a lb. for the fruits this time but subject to change (increase). I don't remember if it was Organic, but I always soak my purchased fruit in baking soda and water for 30 minutes just in case there are pesticide residues to very dirty hands before I eat it. On February 28, my friends and I asked an employee near the office where the ATM was. She ignored us at first, and later we saw her walk past us with another employee while laughing and directing racial slurs toward our group. On March 7, we encountered the same employee again and she once again shouted racially offensive language toward us. Then on March 8, the situation escalated. As she walked past us, she hit my shoulder while passing by and yelled racial slurs in both English and Spanish. I reported the incidents through OCC's complaint system but had not received a response before the third incident occurred, which is extremely concerning. The employee's name is Karen L. I'm sharing this as a caution to other minority customers. No one should experience harassment or discrimination from staff at a public marketplace.

I didn't get the best first impression on their customer service, but after the owners saw my complaint, they quickly contacted me to apologize and remediated my issues to my satisfaction. This made me see their product in a different light. They not only strive for quality in their products but are trying to improve their interactions with their customers which is admirable. I got the almond matcha and the coconut matcha. The coconut matcha was more to my taste as it tasted a lot lighter and more refreshing. I didn't get to try their walnut matcha as they ran out, but I am looking forward to trying it next time I am able to visit them! I hope to see they will continue to expand their service and product lines in the future.
