I went there, went through the car wash. I purchased the best one with the waxing as well. I only live 3 km outside of Bridgewater and when I got home and got out of my car, I couldn't believe how dirty it was. I wrote *Just Washed* on the truck in the dirt as well as ran my finger over the roof and the hood of the car. My daughter called this station to let them know what happened and they said they hadn't had any complaints today and offered me a Free car wash. Why would I want to go back? I always wash my car myself as it is new and I take pride in how it looks, so I thought why not put it through the car wash. NEVER AGAIN.

I like that when I fill my car up, once a week, I can get a little something back from this gas station. In the form of a $1.something coupon for Sobeys. No it's not much, but it's better than nothing! This station is regularly busy, but never so busy you are more than a car behind. Pay at the pump, so i never really go inside! And located conveniently next to my local Sobeys, so i can reap the benefits immediately.

It does get quite crowded at times because the parking lot in which it is situated is awkwardly put together with confusing street signs that I could easily see leading to fender benders and the like. As laundromats go, you get the job done. Your machines are well maintained, and broken down ones never seem to stay "out of order" for long, You are quite large, and I can't say I've ever had to wait for either a washer or dryer. Overall, I have always been satisfied with what you have to offer. Your convenience store counterpart is a decent place, with a fair bit of variety, and a good sized magazine section in particular. Also enjoyable, though admittedly a shamefully guilty pleasure, is the so-greasy-and disgusting-it's-actually-kind-of-yummy-in-way-I-would-never-admit-to-anyone (oh...wait...) Chester Chicken that you sell. Mmmmm-mmmm good. Oh, and though I have never filled up here, I cannot fail to mention that you are also a gas station, an Esso in fact, should this matter to anyone. Passing along a huge thank you to D & M Service Centre Ltd. in North Kentville! We rented a U-Haul…read moretrailer from them only to have our truck stop working after hooking up. They immediately helped us diagnose our truck's problem and, when it became apparent we needed a new starter, squeezed us in for work the same day! At that point we figured that our original plan for the day was shot, but they managed to hook us up with a U-Haul truck so we could pick up the furniture as planned (and they gave us a deal)! By the time we made it back to drop off the moving truck, our truck was all fixed and ready to go! So ... what could have been a really frustrating, unproductive day was super easy and efficient all thanks to D & M Service Centre Ltd. in North Kentville!

Running out of gas on Highway 102 so we stopped in Chester - one of the only populated areas…read morebetween Halifax and Bridgewater. Stopped at the Irving gas station on Saturday night shortly after 7:00. It was closed up for the night! Google lists this location as being open until 8:00 pm. Went to the Tim Hortons down the road to ask where the nearest gas station is and they said the only one was Irving and were suprised to hear that it was closed. Even if they were open until 8:00 this is still too early for the only station in town on a Saturday night! Irving is well known in the Maritimes as the place to go when you need to stop late at night (although 7:00 is pretty darn early in my opinion). If you need gas - try the Petro Canada in Chester Basin off exit 8. Don't even bother going to see if this station "might" be open. Glad I was able to make it to Exit 8. Also - exit 10 has a nicer larger Irving Station which is open past 7:00. Moral of the story - don't waste what little gas you do have driving around these tiny little towns and villages - cal ahead first to confirm that they are actually open!
