After reading reviews of several ERs within reasonable driving distance, Inova Emergency Room in Oakville was the best. The gorgeous facility is sparkling clean & tastefully decorated with trendy MCM furniture in the lobby. More importantly, I immediately felt at ease upon speaking with the front desk staff & my family member was seen within just a few short minutes. EVERY person we interacted with (from security & front desk employees to the custodial staff, several nurses, & the doctor) was warm, friendly, patient, thorough & kind. Bloodwork, an EKG, urinalysis, head CT scan & an IV were performed quickly & smoothly. Nurse Kayla & Dr. Antoon were exceptionally cheerful & professional, with a spectacular sense of humor that helped keep my relative calm & in good spirits. Thank you so much to the entire staff for doing such an excellent job!

Guards were fine and checked our bag, made sure we knew about parking validation. Intake was pretty standard & courteous. Waited 5 min in lobby to get to the triage, and then an exam room. Facilities are new, clean, and modern. They were able to pull up our past health records on their database without issue. Quick vitals, followed by details checked by nurse & the ER doctor. Doctor confirmed we did the right thing. Minimal interaction, but thorough & it was a simple case of typical flu onset. Sent note in record to primary care Doctor. Out with Rx for Tamiflu & Zofran anti-nausea meds for pick up locally within 30 minutes. Efficient, courteous, accurate. Easy exit from parking. Definitely wheelchair accessible.

As a black woman going into any medical practice, it feels akin to a black man at a traffic stop. I immediately feel fearful, unseen and wonder if my concerns will be disregarded. This is definitely not the case here. Dr. Weintritt is super smart, informative, checks on you along the way, is warm, and takes his time. You don't feel like rushed through the process. I am so grateful to him and his team of wonderful professionals.

However as luck would have it, it became necessary to remove half of my thyriod, and I was referred to Dr. Weintritt. As others have stated, the pre-op appointments went great and hastle-free. He was very good about addressing my (many) questions and concerns. Surgery day was last Tuesday, and I was up and around (with no need for opioids) the next day! By Friday, I was forgetting that I actually had a surgical wound. It's been a week now and I feel like it never even happend! I'm shocked at how efficient and pain-free this procedure was! If you need thyroid surgery, this is the surgeon to do it! BTW, his office staff is great, and has been nothing but very friendly and accomodating to me. Big ups all around!

I was very satisfied with my visit with Dr. Zain Sultan at Inova Primary Care. Unlike another…read moredoctor I saw at a different practice, I found Dr. Sultan to be patient and detailed. He considered all of my symptoms, outlined possibilities, and ordered some additional testing. I'd say the experience with him was five stars. The front desk person was also helpful as was the nurse. The negatives were that I had to do a COVID test, which seemed to be unnecessary to me, and there was some difficulty running the insurance. I think this is a fairly new location--they mentioned not having testing done on premise yet, so I think that more will be added in the future. But I'd definitely recommend Dr. Sultan as a primary care physician.

I called trying to get an appointment with my primary care physician, but the nurse on the phone told me my doctor wasn't available that day, but offered to schedule me with a Nurse Practitioner at another location instead. What she deliberately left out was that this other location would bill the visit as urgent/emergency care, turning what should have been a standard $30 copay into a surprise $200+ bill. If they had been honest and transparent about the massive cost difference, I would have waited a day or two to see my regular doctor. Instead, they took advantage of my vulnerability and pain to quietly route me into an overpriced visit without my informed consent. When I reached out to billing and customer support to explain the lack of disclosure, they refused to help or take accountability. It is heartbreaking and deeply infuriating to realize that a healthcare provider you trusted for years views its patients as an ATM rather than people needing care. Beware of their deceptive scheduling tactics. They do not care about your well-being--only what they can extract from your wallet when you are at your most vulnerable. I am officially taking my care elsewhere.
