Dr. Thorsgard's legacy of excellence lives on this the new management. Everyone is super friendly and explains everything to us. Our 10 yr old Siberian had a big tumor on her chest which was removed in October and is doing unbelievably great! Our questions & concerns are always addressed quickly and thoroughly. Also, our dogs have been boarded here with no issues. Special dietary food is also available in the lobby. A convenient online pharmacy is also available. We highly recommend Animal Care Clinic.

We are reverse snowbirds, living near Bigfork in the summer and California the rest of the year, so when our 13-year-old Lab mix suffered a sudden, serious medical crisis, we needed to find a veterinarian quickly. Animal Care Clinic was able to fit us in the same day. From the veterinary technician who took Milo's history and vitals to the veterinarian, Dr Hockenson, who examined him, everyone was professional, knowledgeable, compassionate, and respectful. The veterinarian was thorough in her evaluation and explained the situation clearly. Most importantly, she was honest. She discussed diagnostic options but did not give us false hope or pressure us into unnecessary testing. After examining Milo, I asked Dr Hockenson for her professional opinion regarding euthanasia. She agreed that it was the kindest option given his condition and supported us through that difficult decision. The staff first gave Milo a sedative so he could relax and be comfortable. Throughout the process, both Dr Hockenson and technician showed tremendous compassion. They gave us the time, privacy, and support we needed to say goodbye. I cannot thank them enough for the care they provided to Milo and to us on a very difficult day.

They really know how to go the extra mile and provide the highest possible standard of care rather than the bare minimum. Unfortunatly I have moved away from the area and am now stuggling to find a vet clinic ran half as well. A nightmare experiance of dealing with phone staff that don't know which meds their clinics do and do not carry and will confidently provide wrong answers, vets who try to substitute meds without reviwing charts rusulting in them perscibing meds that would have caused potentially lethal drug interactions (Dog was fine, I caught the mistake before administering the med), and them forgeting to order the agreed upon med rusulting in me getting it more than two weeks late, have prompted me to come give recognition where recognition is due. These guys were great, I miss having thier compitent and compassionate staff as a part of my Sweetpea's care team.

Is was raining and the staff asked me to step outside in the rain with a Bully. ( Bully's don't do rain). Because another dog would be coming out of a room. WTF? My dog is a puppy and the most friendly puppy ever. She's extremely well socialized. Been on beaches across Florida since she was 10 weeks old. Met more people and animals than most vets have. Never shown any sort of aggression so ever. She's obedient, knows her commands, but still hyper puppy for sure. She had to go out in the rain cause there was another dog coming out? Get the other dog under control if you're worried about something happening. Felt completely judged for a breed they clearly know nothing about. My Bully was 30 lbs at the time. She's a year now and 50 lbs

I would've easily paid five times more back home. I needed to get in right away, and they were able to put me on standby. When I arrived, I was greeted by the nicest staff and their adorable cat lounging on the counter. It immediately made the place feel warm and welcoming. My dog was treated with so much care, and she was completely comfortable with the vet, which is rare for her. Everyone here felt genuinely honest and kind, never like they were trying to upsell or take advantage. These are truly good people who care about animals and their owners. Highly recommend.

Everything went well except they tried to sell me on giving my an operation because it showed he had been neutered but his testicles could still be up inside him. Of course, I said no. When I got home I started to look over the papers and discovered my dog was to have a 2nd round of vaccinations. They refused to schedule an appointment for me because of my behavior. I most recently was voted Ms. Congeniality in The Redheads of AZ. Pageant. I am continually getting compliments on the way I treat people. Go out of my way to help others and am an all around good person. I believe they got me mixed up with another handler. I do not drive and even if I could get to another Vet as they suggested, I would be required to have the Dr. do another exam. I am 71 and disabled. There is no money for another exam. So.....my service dog soon will not be current on his shots. They were all about the money, not caring about my dogs health. Cindy N.
