Here are 5 reasons why Dr. Weiss rocks: 1) He takes the time to listen to you. My previous doctor was always trying to rush you in and out. Dr. Weiss actually blocks 45 minutes for a physical, and stays in the room asking if you have any other questions. 2) He is on email! I emailed him a question about vitamins and he wrote back the next day with recommendations. How cool is that? 3) You can usually get an appointment pretty fast. For physicals, it can be a while, but every time that I've been sick I've been able to get in that day to see him. 4) His office is conveniently located. It is right above the 7-11 on Washington Street, so near the red line, green line, orange line, etc. 5) He is (mostly) on time. There have been a few times where it's been a longer wait, but for the most part you get to see the doctor at your actual appointment time.

This midwife has the worst bedside manner of any person, let alone physician, I've met. I was not…read moreeven a patient of hers, I would never select someone so rude and aggressive, and she attempted to diagnose me after learning some information about my labor and delivery. I told her I wanted to make a treatment plan with my OB and regular midwife and she did not listen to my concerns and lectured me for over 30 minutes. My husband and I were both in shock and the nurses and other midwifes in her group later came to apologize for her behavior. This women should not be allowed to work with new mothers especially those trying to recover from a difficult labor and delivery. Please take care of yourself and your baby and avoid this midwife at all costs!

I've since seen her twice, once for a physical and the second time for a gyno screening. Gyno's are always awkward - to me anyways. Dr. Peters was great at both appointments. For my physical, she went through everything. I was surprised at how detailed she got during my health history. It was reassuring. I have very little faith in doctors; I think the healthcare system is broken and they simply don't have the time or energy to invest when they're seeing so many patients each day. But having said all that Steven Abreu is great. He's talkative, knowledgeable, reassuring and always seems to be in a happy mood. His attitude is very calming without any condescension, which is exactly what you need from a PCP. So far he's pulled stuff out of my ear and helped me out by back-dating a referral I didn't get when I didn't know the whole system. I have to drop a star because getting an appointment can be a real pain. Sometimes the wait is 2 weeks.

I've had other doctors and she is really the best. Makes you feel comfortable and remembers things that you tell her. Only thing that wasn't great was sometimes its hard to get an appointment or you wait a bit but thats typical everywhere I've found. Her nurse Beth is really nice also. They actually make going to the doctors not so bad. The office is great cause it is associated with Mass General. Great hospital. Moved out of state to NYC and I really miss the wonderful care I received. Hoping to move back and be her patient again one day!

She wants you to ask questions and doesn't seem to judge anyone. The first time you go is really just for a consultation so I had to make another appointment for a physical. The only problem with that is that the appointment is in May because she is so busy! Her nurse, Beth, told me that she will return my calls (if I call) and really be my contact because Dr. Ramos is so busy. But I am hoping that isn't an issue. Also, the convenient North End location means that if I were to ever get sick, I wouldn't have to travel far to see my doctor. Although getting an appointment with her might be an issue...
