She was the direct opposite from my visit last week! I hope Vision Works can hire people who are very nice and welcoming as the ones in the store were. Maybe when I go to pick up my glasses it will be a pleasant experience. I can only hope.

Super friendly customer service here at Stewart's…read more Located in the Pearl St shopping center, this is the place that locals have been going to for years for their blurry needs. We stopped by to pick up a pair of eyeglasses that needed fixing due to the glasses chance encounter of a car tier. We stopped in to pick up the repaired glasses and it was a breeze taking to the workers here. The staff was professional and courteous. If your glasses need repairing and the eye pads are looking yellow they will replace them for free. What I also liked was the bantering with the staff. They really have some funny bedside (eye-side?) manner. Just talking to a worker here for a few moments you feel like you belong to the community. While on vacation here in Wellsboro or if your a local, this is the place to go to take care of your glasses needs. Hopefully I or my family will not need their services in the future, however; if more glasses get flattened I know where to go.

Her name was Jaminett and I was very pleased with how courteous and knowledgeable she was. I also had Dr LIndahl check my eyes at the end of the visit and he was fabulous as usual.

I saw Dr. Lindahl because I had cataracts that needed surgery. I cannot begin to tell you how…read morepleased and impressed I am with all of the people that work there! Dr. Lindahl answered all of my questions. He was kind and thorough. I had cataract surgery on February 26, 2026 and March 13, 2025, am seeing like I haven't in years and need no glasses. He is an excellent surgeon! The women who work with him are wonderful! I got to meet Maggie, Beth, Laura, Denise, Angie, Kim, as well as Deb and Monique at the front desk. Thanks to you all for your kindness and care! Most businesses these days are more concerned about the bottom line than the people that come to them for help. Not here! They all genuinely care about improving people's lives through helping them see the best they can. I am humbled by what you did for me and so grateful! BTW, Yelp says I live in San Francisco, CA...that's wrong! I live in the Rochester area.
