I have never had any issues and the lady who comes and changes the air filters , I forget her name but always so nice and in and out and always accommodate my work schedule since I am Blessed to work from home . I didn't panic, but after retracing my steps didn't work, I stopped looking and decided I would indeed find them when I stopped looking for them. After "not looking" for 24 hours, I called the office. Lee was empathetic and offered to have my house key, mail key, and gate fob replaced and delivered to my door as soon as possible. Immediately upon hanging up the phone, a thunderbolt hit as I remembered changing my "Valentine" door wreath to a "Let It Snow" door wreath. There were my keys, dangling by the car key fob from the snowman's hat. I immediately called Lee to stop the key remake when Serena told me Lee was already getting things started. Now I'm sure some lady losing her keys wasn't the most important task to be done, but the ladies laughed (WITH me of course) but making my little problem was indeed important to them. Thank you both and please know you are definitely part of the reason I love where I live. Tori Escott

I have lived at Hopkins Commons Apartments in Maineville, OH for two years. The buildings are only…read moreabout six years old, but repairs had to be made recently to correct faulty construction. I see the premises and amenities deteriorating since move in while lease renewal each year brings a large rent increase. I talked to a regional property manager today from Flaherty&Collins who own and manage this property. She confirmed that all their properties incur a 7% increase in rental rates annually. My one bedroom apartment was raised $78.00 each of my two years. It was never stated in my lease that this was to be expected. We are listed as an active 55 and over community online, but we are mainly aged 70 plus with many on fixed income. I now see many seniors being forced out with the rent increases. I told the representative that large rent increases do not make sense especially when you see poor upkeep of the buildings and premises. Online advertising for our property has deceptive and false information. We will never have an on-site restaurant or banquet center due to construction not meeting building code. The next step is contacting the Village of Maineville who contracted with Flaherty&Collins to build this community to see if they can assist our residents with their concerns.

Upon Move in we were told we could paint our apartment and If it could be painted over easily there…read morewould be no charge to repaint because they are required to pain every apartment in between tenants anyway. We picked a very light grey paint color that the office manager Meegan approved and Maintenance was to paint it before we moved in, for a fee of $250. They initially told us it would take 5 gallons of paint. We bought the paint and then one week before we moved in we were told it would take another 4 gallons of pain. I have painted a lot of homes and it does not take 9 gallons of paint to paint 1000 sq feet. We went ahead and purchased the 5 gallons as requested because we needed to move in ASAP because our home had sold at this point and everywhere else had long wait list. We lived there 6 months while we were looking for our new home. We paid all the fees associated with Moving out early and we cleaned the apartment and even filled in the nail holes and painted over them with the paint that was left over. One Month later we received a bill from them for $900.00. $500.00 of it was for painting the walls. I called them and attempted to fight it but I was told that they would not wave the fee because we had signed the move out agreement that said we would be required to pain the apartment back the color it was at move in. Since their own maintenance department painted the walls, they were all ready the color they were at move in. They continued to send me daily emails requesting the money and was going to report it on my credit. In the end we did go ahead and pay the money because we did not want it to ruin our credit. However I will be contacting an attorney to see if anything can be done.
