Not only was she half the price of other day of coordinators that I contacted; she provided three times the amount of service, basically acting as my wedding planner. During the months leading up to the big day, she'd check in at least once a week via email to ask questions about the timeline, the decor, the vendors, or the seating chart, all the while maintaining an upbeat attitude and fostering excitement about the progress I was making. We met twice in person so she could go over everything with the owner of the wedding venue and our photographer. This all may sound standard, so here's where Sonya went above and beyond her contract: - Right before the wedding, she let us store a ton of items at her house, and she even moved them over to the venue for us without being asked - She provided items like coolers, photo props, vases, and flowers from her own garden free of charge - She arranged for us to buy a few items like candle holders from another bride she was working with, half price - She arrived at the venue at 8 in the morning the day of the wedding, and left shortly before midnight, bringing her husband to act as an assistant - also free of charge. She helped us decorate the tent, she hauled ice, and she picked up more alcohol when the bar ran out earlier than expected. What I mean to say is - we never could have pulled off our wedding without Sonya's tireless efforts. Thanks to her, we had the most beautiful, joyous, stress-free day of our lives.
