Had such a great experience coming here with my son. I had done lots of research on all the different scuba/sandbar excursions in the keys, and when I found this one, it looked like something fun and local that would be a lot of fun to do. When I initially called them for help in which boat we should pick for our excursion, that woman that answered the phone was so nice and helpful and just got me more excited to book and made it fun to look forward to. I liked that this one was only 3 hours, because we were stopping on our way back to Miami from Key West and we didn't want to be on the water all day. The day of when we were driving up from Key West, we thought we had plenty of time to get there, but traffic was proving it difficult for us to make it on time. I called the shop to ask about how much time we would have since we wouldn't be able to get there in the 30 mins prior to make way, as requested when booking. Alanna answered the phone and was more than happy to help out. I called about an hour prior to our initial arrival time to inform them we may be late, and she was wonderful. She said they could hold the boat for a few minutes for us but just to keep them posted. As we inched our way closer and closer to Tavinier, traffic still was not on our side. They called and checked in on us and how the drive was going, and this to me made me feel taken care of above and beyond. They didn't have to call, they didn't have to wait, but they did, and I was very much appreciative of them! When it came to finally making my way in, I couldn't find parking, and again, Alanna saved the day and helped me locate a spot! We ran to the boat, hopped on and Captain Chris and Mate Savannah were so wonderful with the same southern hospitality. They greeted us with huge smiles and off we went. Savannah and Chris both checked in on us once we were parked at the sandbar, offering bevs, floating devices, conversation, and just a great time! My son and I really enjoyed ourselves and would highly recommend this charter! read more

Me and my boyfriend han amazing snorkeling experience with island girl! We saw so many variations fish and even a turtle. Sophia and captain Jack were the absolute best. They were super friendly and happy to take care of everyone's needs. Drinks and all equipment you may need were also included. So glad we chose to snorkel with Island Girl. if i could rate them 1000 stars, i would - We did the sandbar trip, listened to music the entire time there and back and enjoyed Rum Punches, paddle boards, snacks and drinks. Atlantis was an amazing guide, she was funny and great to chat with & Amy was attentive and kind. Most definitely come take a tour with this family owned business if you're in the area, we will be touring with them again the next chance we get :) read more

Love the Island Girl! Great that it's connected to Islander. We did the snorkel trip but waves too high to go to Reef so we went to Bay side which was amazing and a great relaxing trip. Kids loved snorkeling in mangroves. Sky and Atlantis were really fun and friendly. Highly recommend! read more

Nothing short of perfect! Great crew, wonderful spot we even saw turtles!!

BUYER BEWARE!! My 15 year old was very ill and the captain said we could cut the trip short and he would only charge us for the time used (3 hours start to finish). We did not ask, his offer!! We agreed to go back to the marina and the captain said, please take care of the first mate-$200-doing that anyways-he then said he had to call the owner and proceeded to say he couldn't charge us for time used!! VERY dishonest. Felt like a giant scam and definitely not the first time they pulled this one. Paid $1300. The captain and first mate fished the first two hours and caught NOTHING!! Very interesting how "everything" ate their bait. The boat was also very dirty and uncomfortable. Lastly, the owner of the boat told me this was "my problem" and the captain knows the policies so we need to get our money back from him. If you have any ethics or morals, please chose another charter, there are MANY. These people are frauds!! read more

If you want to catch fish and have a good time than look no further! Captain Bond is the best captain, he takes his time throughout the charter to make sure his guests are feeling ok and learning what they need to know to catch the most fish possible! His mate made sure our hooks always had bait and that the boat stayed clean, even when things got a little bit dirty! The island girl is beautiful, with all the accommodations you could need and ice cold A/C to top it off! My boyfriend surprised me with this charter for my birthday back in January and we had been itching to get back ever since! So what a more perfect chance than to surprise him for his birthday this past weekend, and boy did we have a good time. Islamorada is great just to look at but to get out on a gorgeous boat, bend some rods, come home with a cooler full of fish AND hear some great stories along the way...it doesn't get any better than that! Captain Bond thank you, thank you, thank you! We will be seeing you again as soon as we possibly can!!! read more
