We used to have a green algae infested dirty pool that we could not swim in. NOW, we can swim any moment of any day and our friends and family love coming over to swim again. Our daughter who is an architect, drew up a design for us and Sal's designer perfected our vision. Sal was always willing to give to give us his professional suggestions in areas we were not sure about. Everything from beginning to end went very smooth. His crew was very professional, efficient and always communicated with us. Sal's crew also landscaped our backyard with concrete designs and artificial turf. The landscaping turned out great and we have no complaints about with the work Backyard Pools did.

Justin finally did take accountability for how poorly and unprofessionally my pool was managed, but that was before he gave me a $4000 quote and then ended service when he became extremely annoyed when I asked for break down of the costs. They boost that their pool guys are so well trained, but after a new pool guy was assigned to my pool the problems began. I was paying for full service $160+ for everything. First he didn't vacuum my pool and told my tenant that he didn't. He didn't vacuum the pool multiple times, I had to call the owner and then he would be sent out again. Then he didn't put the seal for the filter back on so it was sucking in air for hours before I noticed. Then he put twice as much shock in the pool as he was suppose to, based on records and the owner tried to back pedal and say he wrote the wrong amount. This all happened within two months. My pool was then cloudy from mismanagement of chemicals, the water was only a couple years old, as I had drained the pool 3 years prior. Justin told me that no filter was able to filter out the dirt. I was told I needed to change the water and asked if I also wanted a quote for a new pump and filter. I told him a quote would be great but I was in no position to spend over $4000, at which point Justin cancelled my service. The lack of professionalism, and laziness from this company was astounding. I have since SUCCESSFULLY cleaned and maintained my pool since then and I wish I could say any idiot can do it but as you can see thats CLEARLY NOT the case.

The owner, Tyler, arrived and was friendly and professional. He diagnosed and replaced the heater element within the quoted estimate. Total job was about an hour. I was nice to see that the owner also does repairs when they're busy. It shows dedication and understanding of their customer's needs. Also, no "AI" or bouncing around my phone call. This was the first and only location visited when interested in purchasing a Hot Tub, felt comfortable at the location and the Staff was Great.  Once we decided on the right size of unit for the space available, the rest was easy with Great Assistance from Dylan.  We had to wait a week for delivery, and the delivery process went extremely smooth with no problems or damages.  Tyler and Sam delivered our unit and were very helpful in informing me of everything I needed to know for success.  Install was an Awesome Experience, Thanks Tyler and Sam!!! Definitely a ridiculous amount for literally no legit service. Felt like a money grab. They didn't respond to my email about the crazy amount. They sent an estimate that was way more expensive than it should cost to even replace that system. (I went elsewhere and they did a great job for far less)

In fact, it makes me very uncomfortable so I'm gonna…read moredo my best to just give you the facts as I know them and then let you figure it out, but I'm gonna tell you this much right off the bat, buyer beware! I had high hopes. This company had serviced the pond many years ago in the house we just bought. What I ended up getting was two very nice guys who used a pressure washer and a sunk pump to drain my pond and that's it. 75 bucks per hour per guy equaling $150 an hour! My bill was over $1000. I could've purchased all the equipment, including the tubs, pump and washer for far less and done it myself. They couldn't even tell me what kind of fish I have in my pond. I was really disappointed. By late afternoon, I ended up going out and asking when they were going to get to the point of refilling my pond, only to be told that they were still pressure washing out the goop. I said this isn't a pool, this is a pond and I do expect some algae and what not. Only then did they start refilling my pond. And to add insult to injury, they said that "we "have a problem. We! They didn't bring the DEchlorinator!!! When I asked if that might harm my fish or my turtle when being re-introduced to the pond, the response was, "well I hope not"! I couldn't believe my ears. This was a mess from start to finish. To say that I was disappointed in this company is a massive understatement. They told me they installed ponds all the time and direct sunlight and that there's nothing I can do about the algae. Even though shade is the thing to mitigate algae. I asked about plants and other kinds of fish and I expected some of that to arrive with the workers, which did not. $150 per hour.... You'd think that would come with some semblance of expertise, but did not. I'll be honest, I sincerely suggest you look elsewhere if you have a pond and you need some help. I found ponds plants and more off of Ruthrauff and they're amazing. They charge per job, which seems the ethical thing to do unless you're just really trying to fleece people.

One of the young men that serviced my pool was very rude to me as well. I was told not to swim in the pool by them and it was July 4th - the peak of summer. I took a sample of the water to Leslies and the readings confirmed that I definitely needed a NEW POOL Company!
