This was the first and only location visited when interested in purchasing a Hot Tub, felt comfortable at the location and the Staff was Great.  Once we decided on the right size of unit for the space available, the rest was easy with Great Assistance from Dylan.  We had to wait a week for delivery, and the delivery process went extremely smooth with no problems or damages.  Tyler and Sam delivered our unit and were very helpful in informing me of everything I needed to know for success.  Install was an Awesome Experience, Thanks Tyler and Sam!!! The tech Richard was very patient as he explained to me. What needed to be repaired and got it all done the same day as the initial visit which worked out because he didn't have to order parts. He came prepared. He took time to also explain a few other things to help my pull vacuum, run more efficiently and made some suggestions. Very pleased with this company. The quote was on par with other companies, and our pool guy had recommended PPP so it seemed like a no brainer. It took a really long time for the work to be completed, and there were nonstop additional costs all along the way. The gentleman who did the quote botched it, and at one point we had 4 gentlemen from PPP come out (including the gentleman who gave the quote) to our house to discuss all of the additional costs. They bickered amongst themselves and told the gentleman who gave the quote that he did a poor job, and then they walked him around the yard to give him pointers of where he should be looking for future quotes. It was awkward and unprofessional, and in the end we agreed to split the cost. After that, communications became extremely curt, all of the work seemed to be done much more sloppily, and we are still waiting for them to come back to fix the ladder that they installed incorrectly. When friends ask me who did our pool, I tell them "Pima Pool Plastering, but I do not suggest you use them".

I had high hopes. This company had serviced the pond many years ago in the house we just bought. What I ended up getting was two very nice guys who used a pressure washer and a sunk pump to drain my pond and that's it. 75 bucks per hour per guy equaling $150 an hour! My bill was over $1000. I could've purchased all the equipment, including the tubs, pump and washer for far less and done it myself. They couldn't even tell me what kind of fish I have in my pond. I was really disappointed. By late afternoon, I ended up going out and asking when they were going to get to the point of refilling my pond, only to be told that they were still pressure washing out the goop. I said this isn't a pool, this is a pond and I do expect some algae and what not. Only then did they start refilling my pond. And to add insult to injury, they said that "we "have a problem. We! They didn't bring the DEchlorinator!!! When I asked if that might harm my fish or my turtle when being re-introduced to the pond, the response was, "well I hope not"! I couldn't believe my ears. This was a mess from start to finish. To say that I was disappointed in this company is a massive understatement. They told me they installed ponds all the time and direct sunlight and that there's nothing I can do about the algae. Even though shade is the thing to mitigate algae. I asked about plants and other kinds of fish and I expected some of that to arrive with the workers, which did not. $150 per hour.... You'd think that would come with some semblance of expertise, but did not. I'll be honest, I sincerely suggest you look elsewhere if you have a pond and you need some help. I found ponds plants and more off of Ruthrauff and they're amazing. They charge per job, which seems the ethical thing to do unless you're just really trying to fleece people.

We had a second service guy come out and explore the inner workings to see why it continued to leak. He chipped away much of the hard foam insulation and concluded it was a manufacturing defect. He said this was not too uncommon with Hot Spring Spas. So, why does Poolwerx still sell them, I wonder? Supposedly, a Hot Springs Spa rep was going to contact us. Nothing. Now, as of last night, the electrical system is not working. We are unable to turn on the lights, or the jets. So, we have a $14,000 leaking spa that does not work - sitting on a concrete pad we paid $1000 to have poured (solely for the spa) - and it's only one month old. Please folks; thoughtfully consider all optional luxury purchases. We are pained thinking of what we could have done with that $15,000.

Not sure what happened with Dustin. Initially, he was responsive to issues and questions. Then, he…read morebecame unresponsive and when he did there was some attitude. After a while, Dustin would make comments to make it sound like he was doing me a favor for doing his job or he would get very defensive. Makes me think there is something else going on with him that is affecting his job and temperament. Dustin was never able to get the pool level restored to the correct level, that was typically an inch or two too low. Dustin claimed he wanted it low for "skimming purposes", but the intake jets should not be gurgling when the pump turned on. He never could get the Leaf filter to remain secure that regularly opened-up dumping debris in the pool. The hose pieces for pool cleaner would regularly separate as well. I asked several times to find a way to secure the components better, and the only laughable attempt that I saw was using electrical tape. Other issues required several follow-up texts and calls. At some point Roger, was not doing a good job skimming once a week, in which I had to follow up after him. I do not mind skimming the pool the other six days, but please do a good job with the one scheduled day to clean the pool and spa. Apparently, Roger is moving on, so maybe he was phoning it in... Technician Ricki was excellent. He did a great job with the new heater installation, which is the only reason why a rated 3 stars instead of 2 stars.
