My daughter and I walked in earlier today and two clerks, who were 'folding' shirts, treated us like we were scum of the earth! They shifted in their heels and acted 'busy', trying to not breathe the same air as us, much less speak - OH! The horror!! Eye contact? Ewe. Twice we passed them --- and it was so obvious they did not think we had the 'money' to spend there. Guess WHAT - I would rather Google your brands and order from a stranger across the country then bless them. I HOPE they work on commission! My packages will arrive first of the week :)

There's also an awesome mermaid mirror and some other siren trinkets. They mermaid my day! This shop offered some exclusive brand names like Spartina handbags, clutches, wallets, jewelry, key chains and scarves. (I have a clutch and love it and my friend bought a beautiful wallet here.) They carried Scout canvas bags and backpacks, Eyebobs brand readers, a large men's department with fabulous "see" worthy ties and belts along with handsome garments. And for your furry friends, there was a sizable pet section. For your tots, there was a clothing and toy selection with some cute pirate and mermaid pieces. Although a bit pricey, the quality of the goods here can not be ignored. The customer service is pleasant enough and you are bound to enjoy shopping at this specialty spot!

We collect our sails one at a time through a network of passionate boaters who love our community waters as much as we do. Our bags are designed and sewn in a building that hangs over the water. We're located on Custom House Wharf in the heart of Portland's working waterfront. It's an unconventional location to be sure. But we think the sound of seagulls and the smell of bait from the local lobster boats is an important part of the character of our bags.

They sold items that I did not see elsewhere. I left with granola and a new pair of reading glasses, since mine didn't make the trip. So this purchase was much needed. The staff were friendly during my stops and let me browse without any pressure to buy. The prices are on the higher side.

I also saw some hurricane lamps and oil lamps that caught my Eye. I loved the whimsical metal crown I found, as I am the Queen of Everything! Lol! My take home bundle included a cool teacup planter, a Scrabble souvenir of Beaufort and some delicious smelling gift soaps. If you are in the market for vintage furniture, retro toys, Pyrex, Corning Ware, figurines or that one of a kind antique, Marketplace is the place to shop!
