He claimed he didn't have insurance, but that it would be fixed and he'd take care of it. We filed with our insurance company and damages are estimated at $32,000+. It is the end of January 2026 and our rig is still in the shop with no completion date given. When I contact Dennis Gartman, the owner about reimbursing us for our incidental expenses, he becomes hostile, argumentative, and hanges up on me. We've had to get the State Attorney General's office involved. Mr. Gartman ignored their letters and states he will see us in court. I would have never stayed in a campground if I'd known the owner didn't have insurance, was knocking down trees, and was such a dishonest man. Cabin Six has been beautifully updated with new floors, furniture, appliances, and a modern bathroom. For larger groups, the park also has three group camp cabins--each with 20 bunk beds and spacious bathrooms that include showers, toilets, and sinks. The park is full of history and adventure. Visitors can explore the Pioneer Cabin and its nearby waterfall, or cross the famous swinging bridge--a suspension bridge that stretches 25 feet over Bear Creek. On the other side, you'll find two trails perfect for bouldering, rock climbing, or simply wandering through the forest. If the foot traffic wasn't enough to get the adrenaline going, the main event arrived exactly thirty minutes later. ​At 6:22 AM, a fleet of cement trucks rolled in like they were prepping for a high-speed foundation pour. Apparently, the "Quiet Hours until 7:00 AM" rule is more of a polite suggestion than a requirement when heavy machinery is involved. ​The Current Situation: ​The Soundtrack: A rhythmic, piercing symphony of "BEEP-BEEP-BEEP" echoing through the trees and campers. ​The View: Massive spinning drums instead of the sunrise. ​The Trap: They've managed to park exactly where we need to exit. We aren't just awake; we're officially held hostage by infrastructure. ​I'm all for progress, but maybe we could wait until the coffee is brewed before turning the campground into an industrial zone? If you need me, I'll be sitting in my camp chair with others, staring pointedly at my watch until 7:01.

Junior owns all the land and lives on it, with 8 RV sites for visitors. We arrived at 930pm and he told us to call his cell when we got off the highway, then he met us to show us where our site was.
