I love Island Time Boat Tours. Matt and Beth are wonderful Captains and provide a fun, safe, and informative tour of AMI, Longboat Key, Cortez and other spots near and around Bradenton Florida. This was our second time with them for a private tour. The first was a 2 hour sunset cruise where we took our grandchildren and they loved it! We got some beautiful pictures of the family at sundown, saw dolphin, and other marine life of the area. Beth has a lot of knowledge which she shared with us and the kids. Matt drove us to the areas most likely to have shells, sand dollars, crabs and other sea treasures. It is a grandmother's dream to make memories like these with her grandKids. Island Time Boat Tours was right on the mark. The next trip was a few months later with my daughter, and 2 visiting nieces. They are 30 something's so we took the 3 hour trip so the girls could show off their skills and bikinis on paddle boards! Another A+ day!! I also want to mention they don't mind you bringing a cooler and snacks so you can eat and drink while on the water. They are my go to for boating fun. I cannot recommended them enough. read more

We highly recommend Island Time Boat Tours. Our family of 6 (ages 2 to 66) took a 2-hour dolphin and eco tour with Beth and Matt. Beth and Matt, a wife and husband team who own the company, were excellent guides and hosts. We were out on a sunny, but windy day. The permanent cover over the top of the boat provided plenty of shade and their commercial grade pontoon boat was very stable and handled the waves very well. We all were excited to stop and view dolphins at a number of different places during our tour. The favorite activity for both the adults and children was stopping at a sand bar, where we all got out and searched for shells and sea life, which were plentiful. Beth and Matt were very knowledgeable about the Anna Maria Island area and the sea life we found, which made the trip not only fun but very informative. We will plan to book another trip with Island Time when we are next in the Anna Maria Island area. read more

We just had such a fabulous experience with Beth and Matt for our trip out to Passage and Egmont Keys. We were looking for assistance getting to those locations for a photoshoot we were planning, and they were so incredibly helpful in thinking through and executing logistics for the day (knowing when to go where to best manage the crowds, how to get around the islands on foot with our gear, regulations for animal safety, etc.). Their professionalism, friendliness, accommodation, expertise and safety navigating the waters were absolutely above and beyond. I've personally taken several others charters locally over the years when family comes to town, etc. and I will absolutely be hiring Island Time Boat Tours for future visits. Best day EVER! We booked a tour with another company and they cancelled with us last minute leaving us without many options. We were only in town for a long weekend and wanted to take kids on a fun adventure. The kids were nervous about being in the ocean so we really hyped up the trip. When we got cancelled they were so disappointed. I called a few other places and they were of course all booked including Island Boat Tours. But Beth was so gracious and found a way to fit is in on a short notice for a trip. We saw dolphins, a boat graveyard, the sand bar, and so many sea creatures. All of this in a 2 hour trip for a very reasonable price. Our family of 6 all agreed this was the best vacation experience we have ever had and plan to book again when we visit next year. read more

We had a great time on this tour and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone! Matt totally customized it to us, listening to what we wanted to do and asking questions to narrow down the best experience for us (snorkeling in a shallower area to look for shells to take back with us vs at a reef area). We saw dolphins and he was knowledgeable about their habits and research being done with them in the area. We went to a sandbar where he helped us find sea dollars, crabs and other things. Matt was excited with our discoveries and told us how to put the animals back to disturb them in the least way possible. I booked a last minute tour with my wife and two kids (ages 2 and 5)--Beth and Matt were extremely accommodating about the time. The boat was clean, comfortable, and a perfect size for our family. They went out of their way to make sure that we had everything we needed for an awesome tour, including taking us to some great local spots to see dolphins and birds. They were very knowledgeable and gave us great fun facts about the area and the wildlife we saw. Matt and Beth also helped us find amazing seashells and sand dollars, which our kids really got a kick out of. We all had a great time and would definitely recommend taking a trip with them. e decided on the 4 hour rour and we thoroughly enjoyed this excursion. Went all over island hopping and saw amazing sites. Tje owners knew where to go, knowledgeable about the area, we're simply the.most pleasant tour guides we could ask for. No question they know boating, the area and how to make you and your family enjoy it. There were six of us, grandkids, younger (6) to young (12). Grandkids loved the sandbars and the dolphins (with their babies) up close and personal. The captain is connected and they all I form each other of where the sites are, where to stay away from, where os not so crowded. Tje family owned business on Anna Marie Island were the best hosts. We had an amazing time- yes, the dolphins were great, but what made the experience superior was Captain Matt. He was very purposeful about making sure that our trip goals were met. He knew that we wanted to see dolphins and he knew right where to take us- the dolphins were incredible! He provided a lot of information about the dolphins and was just as excited as we were with all of their frolicking. But what was truly special was how he picked up on the nuances of my adult son who has autism, and was sensitive to his fears but also willing to play along with him. My family of 5 thoroughly enjoyed this boat trip. Our younger ones were a little hesitant at first but they were welcoming and the bean bag chairs had them excited to get on the boat. It was a beautiful ride. We saw dolphins, manatees, sea urchins, sand dollars, and much much more! We learned a lot of new information and were given nets and water shoes to explore as well. We even tried paddle boarding and my daughter was obsessed with the floating mat. We would definitely take another trip with them. My kids said it was the highlight of our vacation! Stop looking around and book this one! The 3 hour "create-your-own" excursion was the highlight of our week in AMI. We had a few things we wanted to do and relied on Matt and Beth to guide us for the rest. We were able to see dolphins and manatees a few times each, shelling/snorkeling/paddle boarding at a sandbar, tour the bay and gulf, bird island, and more. The paddleboards, snorkel gear, and water shoes are all included at no extra charge, which is a very nice bonus. Matt and Beth were wonderful guides. Can't recommend this trip enough, we'll absolutely do this again on our next trip to AMI! read more

Got to see and interact with lots of wildlife such as dolphins, manatees, blue crabs, spider crabs, sand dollars and fish! Beth was awesome!!! My parents and I enjoyed a sunset tour on 3/14/24! Beth was an excellent guide and very knowledgeable about the history of the Sarasota Bay and all of the animals that inhabit it. We saw so many dolphins, it was unbelievable! Beth also took us up close to bird island where we were able to see many different species including several Roseate Spoonbills! Loved our Manatee River tour with Beth and Matt. Super comfortable seating for my parents (ages 87 & 90) and easy access to the boat. We loved learning about the history of the bridges in the area, seeing so many varieties of birds and spending time watching a couple of dolphins along the way. My family and I went out with Captain Matt & Beth last week 6/17/21. This was without a doubt the highlight of our trip. Our boys ages 6 & 8 had a blast finding sea creatures, paddle boarding, seeing bird island, etc. Matt & Beth were beyond accommodating and let our boys choose their adventure.
