As a business owner for 20 years, it's very hard to accommodate each customer. I personally work at times 7 days a week. Seeing each customer at their leisure, on weekends and sometimes at 6 pm when they are home during the week. This job will entail, meeting customers, writing a proposal , going to the nurseries and take photos of plants they may like, send them etc... Sometimes I don't know what it is to have a weekend off... My last review that i read it really saddens me to see that the customer does not realize that plants were put in twice at no charge, i would meet with her on Sundays if needed. She does not reside their fulltime so when I would call her she would not pick up or would return my phone call the next day. The last time we went to provide a service we found trees and branches on the property. I called her and she did not answer. I left her a message explaining to her what we found and asked her to call me. My worker waited 15 minutes and I told him we would not provide the service until she answered me. She did not call me back for 4 days later...to ask why we did not provide the service I told her that I will not work on her home until she authorizes any work. She has cameras by the way, where she could of seen us there and just called us back so we can explain. Like I wrote earlier, you can't please everyone. read more

I have been using ISLAND'S LAWN & GARDEN for all my landscaping and tree trimming needs since 2003. There are two large trees in my backyard that consistently require appropriate trimming every two years, plus the landscape around my house requires maintenance, occasional replacing, etc. as well. I couldn't be more pleased with their services, and the owner and workers aim to please according to your taste and instructions. I should add that every time they trim the trees (one of them is a mango tree), the work is done in a way for the trees to remain healthy and grown new foliage and bloom into the following year. They work efficiently, neatly, and clean up well after every landscaping and/or trimming job, plus they are reasonably priced! read more

I saw Sandra and crew working on a neighbors yard. What struck me the most were two things..1) all the guys were working on this one house and they knew exactly what they were doing and 2) I saw Sandra there watching and directing the crew. I love it when I see an owner watching what is being done and making sure it is done right! We just finished my front yard. I had bromeliads that had overgrown and needed some TLC...Sandra came over, gave me a reasonable quote and called me back with a date!
