Unfortunately, once the project moved into the scheduling and installation phase, the experience became extremely disappointing. The quality of the installation was poor. The carpet edges were not finished properly, and the bullnose trim on the steps was installed very poorly. The workmanship did not meet basic expectations. What was most frustrating was the lack of accountability afterward. Once corporate payment had already been processed, communication completely stopped. My calls and text messages were never returned. Good contractors stand behind their work and maintain communication even after payment is received. Unfortunately, that was not the case here. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this company. Go to the Hard Rock in Bayside so you can see their work first hand.

Matt arrived in a large Tree Masters truck that has an extending arm and bucket where a person can stand to reach high trees. Then had a bobcat to dig out the roots and replant with the new one. My most recent interaction has been a disaster. After several weeks of trying to set up an appointment, they finally showed up. Peter Masi, the owner, gives me a price for a "perfect" (his word) system. The price is pretty steep but I gave the okay to proceed. Then Masi comes back and wants more money than previously quoted. The money was said to be to repair an obvious defect that Masi saw, or should have seen, before the original quote and included in it. I told him I would honor his original commitment for a "perfect" system but not for additional repairs. He then sends me a bill for what little work had been done - and not done well - and hounds me for payment. When someone gets you in the door of the business by promising you something certain for a price certain and then comes back and demands more to complete what was originally promised that's very wrong. Buyer beware!
