This campground is truly our family's home away from home- we haven't gotten to seasonal yet, but we will be. For now, several summer weekends are spent at Israel River Campground! Josee, the owner, is a wonderful host is friendly with everyone, always. She was even a witness to my wife and I renewing our wedding vows! The campground is ALWAYS well kept, lawns mowed, clean etc- great activities on weekends to ensure connection between all campers- seasonal and weekenders. read more

Went back in 2019. We had a small pop up. The site we were given was barely wide enough to park the pop up and not enough room for our car. There was a a fence that ran along side the abutting campsite (maybe a seasonal site?) and the soccer field was quite literally feet from our pop up. Our site was feet from the main road.... It was a busy road too. We did have water and electric and a decent fire pit. The pool and hot tub were a plus though the place was packed. There were seasonal campers as far as the eye can see - I got a weird vibe from being a non seasonal guest - the bathroom nearest to us wasn't working all weekend so we had to walk to the other side of the campground in order to use it. For the money I'd rather go somewhere else. We haven't been back since. The sites are too small and cramped together. read more

This is basically a redneck trailer park with sone hookups. There are a lot of trailers on site. Girl at front desk is super rude. We were a little late getting off our site but obviously packing up and getting ready to leave, she cut our power off. Seemed to be on a power trip. Not a good place for kids. Will never go back here. read more

We were so disappointed by this Campground. It seems half of the sites are taken by seasonal campers and even year round residents. We were treated very rudely by the owner's mother. We were coming out of the river and walked on her site not realizing what we had done. I tried to apologize but she would not stop screaming at me. She followed my husband and I back to our side in her golf cart screaming. If that wasn't enough she sent a neighbor of hers to our site and he started yelling at me. I was so upset I started to cry and said we were leaving. He told me to stay and to buy a bottle of wine to calm down. We felt not welcomed at all. We decided to stay and went into our camper about 9. Around 9:30 we were woke up by a group of people singing Sweet Caroline over and over. I would not recommend that the rent any sites to non seasonal. read more

Rented a camper at Israel river campground can not say enough about this family owned campground the owner Josee is so nice and accommodating in anything you might need the camper had everything that you would need for a great weekend the rental camper had all the dishes pot pans you would need for cooking and eating the camper was we'll kept and we'll maintain unit they had a well appointed rec room also many sport thing for you to do ice cream social that was better than any ice cream shop the pool was heated and kept clean the kids had so much fun they asked to stay and come back for another weekend .even being a rental weekend the other seasonal made you feel really welcomed with at many other places they don't .
