Called the store to see if they had a AM4 cpu backplate, they did and said $10. Looking around they have a lot of used items above market share value. It's clearly a business that is trying to flip things and stretch the price. I asked how much it was again when going into the store, he said $15. For a tiny piece of used metal! I left the store and ordered a new one online for $5. Best Buy is right across the street, I would recommend business there for everything they offer. read more

They are selling rtx 3070 for 899.99 MSRB on the card is 500, they are selling the RTX 3080 for over a thousand dollars. their excuse on this was supply and demand. They are taking advantage of the shortage of cards to overcharge them. They are no better than the scalpers that are buying up all the cards and selling them at a profit. I started out first time at this store to buy a Refurbed $999 Gaming PC, Intel I9, AMD Radeon 6700 GPU, and the guys even threw in 2 extra Terabytes for just an extra $199 if memory serves me correctly. The process was smooth, the reps super knowledgebale and friendly. Ive never had a more insightful experience and conversation then when I was with them. Fast forward a couple months later I am having display issues. after fumbling around a few days trying to understand if it was a plug or an driver. turns out it was neither. there was programs intentionally or not added in that didn't belong. they let me know as such after a $69 pre tax diagnostic , and gave me knowledge on how windows programs bug out the PC more often than not, and it's wise to give it some time, namely Sundays to wait for hot fixes. I super appreciate the heads up and communication of when my device was ready and they got everything set for me!! These guys go well beyond expectations when it comes to getting things done even in a busy time. read more

Dishonesty here. I bought some products that were sold new but wrapped only in cellophane, with no box and no documentation, no paperwork. I was told that they were warrantied ("supported") for one full year. One of them failed within the first six months. When I brought it back, I was told that the business (IT Computers) only "supports" for thirty (30) days from the date of purchase, and that the year warranty was from the manufacturer. As there is only a logo symbol and a "made in China" sticker on the item itself, I asked them who the manufacturer was, and they pointed to a similar logo on a named, boxed product in the store. A little frustrated but believing that they were both correct and honest, I contacted that manufacturer. After an exchange of e-mails, a scan of the receipt and of detailed pictures of the item in question, they determined that this was not one of their products at any level. When I confronted the store clerk, he took the item and, after "looking in the back," concluded what I was suspecting: This was a no-name, untraceable item with no warranty and no support and could not even be traced by the very people who bought it for their shop and then sold it to me. They did not apologize for the multi-layered deception nor the dishonest answers from two/three separate associates, nor did they offer exchange or refund despite my still retaining the original receipt from their store. So, in the end, they got me for the cost of the item and for me being foolish enough to trust them, but I hope that you learn from me. And so that you can better establish my credibility, I have been building PCs -- sometimes completely from scratch - for over 25 years. My recommendations are: 1) Get it in writing, anything you are told verbally will not be binding legally, nor will it be honored in the follow-up; 2) Don't buy anything that does not come in an original, sealed manufacturer's box along with all supporting documentation and an original store receipt of purchase; and 3) Maybe just consider buying from another retailer...there are other, reputable retailers in Lincoln who I am sure would appreciate your considerations. They "fixed" my husband's phone, but they put the wrong sim card into his phone and refused to fix the problem- they said we fixed screen it is not our problem that he can't make phone calls. My husband spent over an hour on the phone with our provider to discover what they did causing him to not be able to make calls. We had to wait three days to get a new sim card. The service provider said that if the repair shop had made the call and put in a new sim card - which our provider would have given them, the problem could had been easily fixed because screen repair shops sometimes make mistakes. But this shop wouldn't own up to their mistake. NEVER GO THERE. THEY WILL BREAK YOUR STUFF AND DO NOTHING TO FIX THE PROBLEM read more
