The repair required a part from China which they ordered but then it got 'lost' in the mail. We ordered the part ourselves, we delivered the part to this business and then received our laptop back July 2020. The cost was $190 plus GST and totally absurd. There is no accountability on what the charge is for and they totally deny having a $20/hour labour ad running when we delivered our laptop. Get the laptop home and we do not have the right charger for it. Charger doesn't work, wrong colour, damage on cord, safety prong gone. Not our cord. But hey, they don't have ours. The cost to order a new cord is $89 on-line. No professionalism. Do not give these people your belongings. Positive and glowing ads on phone are fake, I would bet money on it.

Took it into Memory Express Calgary NW about 1 month ago. Was told it would take two weeks or more to get it back to me. I received a call from the technician working on my machine within one week. He related the problem to me over the phone and that he was in the process of repairing the damages. That was a Friday, by Monday I picked up my computer and brought it home. Total time I was without my computer was just over 1 week. I have been using it for approximately 3 weeks with out a problem. It boots up faster than before and there have been no more ugly blue screens of death. My cost was below what I was expecting to pay. I can't say enough good things about my interface with Memory Express regarding the repair of my computer.

I can't speak to the owner's technical expertise but he declared that the keyboard needed to be replaced at a cost of $300 without even trying to type something on it and observe the problem. I explained to him that my daughter needed the machine to study at home that evening and for the next few days for upcoming tests and that I could bring it in 3 days later to get the repair done. He proceeded to accuse me of playing games and telling me that I was lying about my daughter needing her computer ?!? He also tried to pressure me into leave her mac right away and pick it up in the morning which also didn't work for us and then continued to insult me because I refused. Clearly, his prediction of me not getting the repair done with him was self-fulfilling because I would never do business which such an obnoxious and unprofessional individual. I'm a Professional Electrical Engineer / Executive with over 25 years of experience dealing with hundreds of suppliers large and small, and I have never been treated this poorly by anyone in the technical service industry. Being in need of an alternative, I contacted Apple Expert Calgary who actually have a store, are very polite and courteous, and are able to replace the keyboard for $250 if needed because they actually troubleshoot the machine and confirm the problem before providing a free estimate.
