It's a Filipino thing I guess if your not good looking on appearance and you look brown or dark skin people think you don't have any money to spend, and some of staff here are rude, food was ok, service was soooooo bad the ambience was so awkward I won't be back and never recommend this place to anyone. That's include friends and Family. Never ever coming back.

Had a great dinner experience - especially liked their Trufle Chicken and mushroom pasta. Other things we ordered are Quattro Staggioni Grande and Chicken Cacciatore. Lady Singers are amazing as well which add to the experience.

This joint is not good, service is worst and takes long time to fulfill orders

This place is not well managed, I saw manager on staff busy checking phone and texting, she was so particular about it that she made extra effort to find right spot in the restaurant so that cell signal would would work well. My friends ordered chicken Parmesan and their order did not get delivered, mango smoothie do not have any milk. When check arrived, they had billed for the chicken Parmesan and because they could not deliver they gave 20% discount. I asked why should I pay 80% for something that was not served. The manager said that's their policy once the order is in the s/w system they don't know how to fix it, only thing they can do is give a discount. I felt sorry for the staff and pinoy customers that they have to face such poor service and untrained staff at this location.

Ribs, chicken and pasta for three.

This review is for the branch at Resorts World. We visited on a Saturday evening. Not very crowded, no host to sit us, within several seconds one arrived. I ordered for my sister and my niece - food item enough for three, ribs, chicken and pasta (ala Buca de Bippo). My spouse ordered the chicken parmesan. We were served bread and dipping sauce and water. Our order took about 15 to 20 minutes. Our food was delicious, the pasta a bit al dente, but the sauce was nonetheless delicious. We didn't eat all our chicken, we had it bagged for the doggie. This restaurant has plenty of potential. The staff need a lot of training to be more attentive and and to anticipate the needs of the customers. I had to get the wait staff attention, if I wanted something. Shout out to the flavor makers in the kitchen. Great tasting food.

Saturday night acoustic sessions; alfresco style!

I come here often because of my bistro card privileges. Its one of the better dining options with that membership. (EG: my P495 meal just got dropped to 150!!!) This Italiani's is hit and miss though. Hits with: the taste of the food; ambience and cleanliness of the restaurant and politeness of the staff. Miss with: the time food takes to come out (almost 30 minutes) and that staff are talking wayyy to much to one another, as opposed to be being attentive to the diners. That said, this is passable as "italian" food in todays mid-tier level dining scene. Pasta is not freshly made though, but at least they know how to cook it al-dente! But do Go for the Ragu - if you want a filling meal!

Great service, great ambiance, great food, great experience. That's about all you need to know about this branch of Italianni's. It's spacey, and great to celebrate birthdays, anniversaries, and any other event worth celebrating. I'm pretty much obsessed with the free bread and the olive oil and vinegar dipping sauce. I always end up spoiling my dinner because of it! Unfortunately for me, the servings are huge! I can never finish one plate by myself. The desserts are a must try too! Honestly, you can't go wrong with a classic like Italianni's. This branch is also known for airing basketball games on their huge TVs, much to the delight of all guys out there (yes, I'm stereotyping).

I'll leave another review when order comes. Updated: it's no longer going by the same name, but I did order the one pasta dish they had with the truffles, and it was delicious as well as two chocolate croissants that were amazing. It was also one of the best lattes I've had in the city. It's not easy finding good food in Manila unless you're at a five-star hotel. So this place is not bad for breakfast croissants and may be a quick bite to get you out of the fast food haven that is vanilla.

Farfalla is the in-house restaurant of the Hotel Durban, a small but classy budget hostel in Makati's tourist zone. And while most of the time the terms "budget hostel" and "in-house restaurant" should be your cue to run far, FAR away from the joint, this is not the case with Farfalla. Farfalla prides itself with making their own pasta and baking their own bread, and it shows in their dishes. I've eaten here a couple of times (I love staycationing in Hotel Durban), and it has never disappointed. The pastas are on point, the bread is lovely, and everything is reasonably priced. But for me, the best feature of Farfalla is the outdoor seating. Overlooking Durban st, which connects the more chaotic P Burgos street and Makati Avenue, you will inadvertently be witness to the fascinating subculture only found in Makati's tourist belt, while being shielded from it. It's like being protected by a force field while you watch foreigners from every persuasion, "massage therapists", hawkers, and partygoers walk, scream, shout, argue, run, fight, and party in front of you. It's entertaining! Something should be said about eating here on a Sunday morning. There you are, eating your breakfast (which is excellent, by the way), while the entire street is quiet and peaceful. Every now and then, you find a couple of tourists/foreigners/locals dragging themselves back to their hotels/homes. Again, very entertaining.

I remembered to take a photo of the pizza, but completely forgot to snap a picture of the spaghetti because we were so hungry and excited to dig in--LOL! The food was absolutely delicious. The highlight for me was their special Gino's Spicy Honey that they recommend drizzling over the pizza. I had never heard of or tried spicy honey on pizza before, but wow--it was amazing! The sweet and spicy flavor paired perfectly with the pizza and created a combination I'll definitely be craving again. Great food, friendly service, and a wonderful dining experience. Despite the name of the place, they are not exclusively serving French food. They have pasta, steaks, and seafood. If anything, Chateau 1771 is a modern European restaurant serving favorite French, Italian, and Swiss food. When I first visited the place years ago, I was actually anxious about that moment when the waiter would hand me the check. European dining in the Philippines has always been equated with expensive fine-dining. But to my astonishment, the price was actually reasonable. I mean, it's not affordable and one would be crazy or filthy rich to eat in this kind of place every day. But for special occasions, I would recommend this place. My most recent visit was during my wife's birthday. It was a table for two and we had a late lunch. After a few moments of browsing through the menu, she asked for Croquette Salad, while I went for Butter-baked Oysters. For main, she had Vanilla Brick Spring Chicken, or grilled chicken served with vanilla bean dots. I ordered the Potence, the house specialty. It's basically steak where the meat is served hanging from a potence, or metal frame, and then set alight (by the waiter) with brandy. Their Pomelo Fruit Juice is a must try. I would recommend having a reservation when dining at Chateau 1771. While the place typically fills up during dinner, I find it perfect for a late afternoon hangout. The ambience can truly transport you somewhere in Europe.

You know how other shops have fresh fruit shakes but when you drink it it just tastes like sugar? Well, Chateau 1771's shakes are fresh, cold and it's the actual fruit. All of their desserts are excellent.
