I visited this restaurant for the first time this evening here in Makati, Metro Manila. The location was fairly convenient, the outside of the restaurant was appealing to the eye, as was the inside, I was greeted at the door, seated quickly by a friendly employee, my table was clean, the dining room was bright and cheerful, a friendly server took my order and she provided attentive service, the menu have a wide variety of choices, my meal (lasagna!) was served in 15 minutes, was hot and delicious, there were TV screens in different parts of the restaurant, and there was no free WiFi. read more

My wife and I were looking for breakfast and found this place serving breakfast. I have to say the food and service were impressive, such delicious choices. It's a Filipino thing I guess if your not good looking on appearance and you look brown or dark skin people think you don't have any money to spend, and some of staff here are rude, food was ok, service was soooooo bad the ambience was so awkward I won't be back and never recommend this place to anyone. I don't know where to start. Never had this bad of experience anywhere in Makati. It started failing from the beginning of our visit. Like to never had gotten anyone to take our drink order. Then she messed it up. We had to call the waitress over to get us drinks. Never got my drink delivered, just drank water. We waited longer and finally called her back to order some starter foods. Mozzarella sticks and chips. We went ahead and put our order in as well knowing it would take forever to get the girl back over. Next came out our salad with the appetizer. Then more food about the same time. I ordered a lasagna and waited and waited. After 1 hour of being there I just wanted the check. Now they decided to mention the lasagna. I told them I no longer wanted it as everyone was done eating. They insisted I pay for it for take out. Everyone was done eating already. I was not happy about this at all. Worst 5000 pesos I have spent in the Philippines yet. 3 people and sub par food. I will NOT be going back here ever again. This was my Mom's favorite Italian restaurant. She usually had a pasta dish, and I ordered a pizza. Now, this place is my husband's favorite Italian restaurant. He usually orders a pasta dish, and once again I ordered pizza. One evening, my husband decided to order their Pizza Enorme. The waitress looked at the two of us and stated that the pizza was 16 inches. On their menu it states that it is a family pizza. Since my husband and I did not eat lunch, we were hungry. He ordered the bottomless premium iced tea, and the waitress suggested a drink that had mango pieces in it. I have to say that I enjoyed the drink, and unfortunately I don't remember the name of the drink. I think that there was a picture of the non-alcoholic drink. I was pleasantly surprised that the different types of pizza slices were neatly distributed. I did not have to worry about having meat on the garlic and cheese slices. I was sad that I did not see that much garlic on those slices. If you have a BFF card, you'll get a 30% discount on Mondays and a 20% discount on the remaining days. read more

Truly enjoyed our dinner at Italianni's. While there were only three of us in our party, we ordered quite a bit. We ordered calamari and fried ravioli for sharing, truffles fries (which were actually chips) and was really good. We also got the eggplant dish and sampler pizza. This place is not well managed, I saw manager on staff busy checking phone and texting, she was so particular about it that she made extra effort to find right spot in the restaurant so that cell signal would would work well. My friends ordered chicken Parmesan and their order did not get delivered, mango smoothie do not have any milk. When check arrived, they had billed for the chicken Parmesan and because they could not deliver they gave 20% discount. I asked why should I pay 80% for something that was not served. The manager said that's their policy once the order is in the s/w system they don't know how to fix it, only thing they can do is give a discount. I felt sorry for the staff and pinoy customers that they have to face such poor service and untrained staff at this location. read more

This review is for the branch at Resorts World. We visited on a Saturday evening. Not very crowded, no host to sit us, within several seconds one arrived. I ordered for my sister and my niece - food item enough for three, ribs, chicken and pasta (ala Buca de Bippo). My spouse ordered the chicken parmesan. We were served bread and dipping sauce and water. Our order took about 15 to 20 minutes. Our food was delicious, the pasta a bit al dente, but the sauce was nonetheless delicious. We didn't eat all our chicken, we had it bagged for the doggie. This restaurant has plenty of potential. The staff need a lot of training to be more attentive and and to anticipate the needs of the customers. I had to get the wait staff attention, if I wanted something. I come here often because of my bistro card privileges. Its one of the better dining options with that membership. (EG: my P495 meal just got dropped to 150!!!) This Italiani's is hit and miss though. Hits with: the taste of the food; ambience and cleanliness of the restaurant and politeness of the staff. Miss with: the time food takes to come out (almost 30 minutes) and that staff are talking wayyy to much to one another, as opposed to be being attentive to the diners. That said, this is passable as "italian" food in todays mid-tier level dining scene. Pasta is not freshly made though, but at least they know how to cook it al-dente! I placed a pickup order here for 18:30 after being told that the restaurant closed at 19:00. When I arrived at 18:30, after walking for 30 minutes, I discovered that the restaurant was closed. A security guard told me that the restaurant had closed at 18:00. I decided to try placing an order again the next week, this time picking my order up at 17:00. Due to the government imposed restrictions, I was unable to enter the restaurant and had to wait outside for the staff to bring me my order. After waiting for 30 minutes, a staff member from the restaurant decided to call me. She called me an arsehole over the phone and told me that she had waited for me to pick up my order until almost 02:00 in the morning the previous week. It's clear that her story was a complete fabrication as I had seen that the restaurant was closed when I arrived during the previous week. There is also no way that somebody would wait in a closed restaurant for over seven hours waiting for somebody to collect an order. I've now had two bad experiences with this restaurant and a staff member's abusive behaviour was the final straw. read more

It's spacey, and great to celebrate birthdays, anniversaries, and any other event worth celebrating. I'm pretty much obsessed with the free bread and the olive oil and vinegar dipping sauce. I always end up spoiling my dinner because of it! Unfortunately for me, the servings are huge! I can never finish one plate by myself. The desserts are a must try too! The only thing they did was open the door for us going out, NEVER SAID THANK YOU OR HOW WAS YOUR FOOD! I was with a Filipino woman but the ONLY black american there. Not sure if they wanted to service a black person or not. I will NEVER KNOW will I? ZERO damm stars (0) I would have been better off just staying and having another 5 dinner at the Makati Diamond Residences and got their great service rather than to be totally IGNORED at Italiannis. So I'm a big fan of Italian food. And when I think Italian food, I think Italianni's. Their pasta and pizza can not be matched in the entire Makati area. And the servings! Oh, wonderful. The portions are good to last me for days! Ok, I exaggerate, but only a little. The atmosphere inside is, of course, what else but the finest Italian ambiance and style and lovely decoration. The Sicilian chicken salad I had there was some of the best chicken salads I have had in a long time. Following up with a pasta dish, the Spaghetti Vongole brought me right to Italy in my mind. The pasta is naturally al dente, and nobody will go for less. I'm certain that it will never disappoint you. Never, never. After such a great meal, their frozen apple mojito definitely refreshes you. I was happy with italiannis, if you lobg for good authentic italian food in the philippines, this is the place to go to. Their menu changes maybe every 6 months and really most of their stuff is quite good. Meticulously prepared with good ingredients. Unfortunately i also made some bad experiences there. Since i have been going there regularly i must say i also had some episodes with an upset stomacg, but only once after ordering their tiramisu. One of my favorite Italian places in the metro! Italianni's is a great restaurant because it's so versatile in terms of the reason to eat here. It's got a posh enough feel for a date night, but perfect for a dinner out with friends as well! They normally have basketball games playing on several TVs so I'm sure there'll be no complaints from any of your guy friends. The food here is good no matter what you order. The pastas all have big servings. So on a dinner date for two, a pizza+pasta combo for sharing is more than enough! The angel hair pomodoro is my favorite sharing pasta. Plus you have the complimentary bread, which many will argue could be the best thing in the world. If you come in a big group, calamares is a must order in my book! Also they have BIG drink orders! I have always liked the food in Italianni's, it's a safe bet if you are not really craving for anything in specific. One of the best things about this establishment would be how the staff is very attentive to the customers. It makes such a huge difference to me because I really value good service. Even if the food isn't anything too spectacular, I can always give a place another try just as long as the staff was accommodating. The best part about it is that their food does not taste bad at all! I really love ordering their Italianni's Fritti, they're basically just super good mozzarella sticks, their shrimp aglio is also good if you don't want anything too heavy before your meal. I also like to order their pizza from time to time, the Quattro Formaggio is always a good go-to of mince. It's always nice to have a good restaurant at the back of your head in case you don't know where to go. read more

Italianni's is an ol' reliable, as far as Italian restaurants go in Manila. Always good Italian dishes. Authentic ingredients. Great flavor. Large servings. Homey atmosphere. For a time, my grandfather only ever wanted to eat here, so our monthly clan dinners would always just be here, haha! But what beats Italian for a big family gathering though, right? Besides, you don't run out of good things to order anyway, as they have an expansive menu. Their pizzas and pastas are of course excellent. Always with a good crust and tomato sauce/cheese base. The oval pizzas have the more artisan flavors and the regular pizzas have the classics. You can't go wrong with any, but just to recommend: the oval pizza with the 3 diff flavors is a definite good deal, the 4-flavor circular pizza with the artichokes thingy is also very good, and so is the classic margherita. Try the Insalata Rucola too for your starters! read more
