I bought an iPhone 6 on Offer Up from a private seller I didn't know (very risky). In about a month, the iPhone quit on me -- wouldn't start, wouldn't charge. I tried all the things I found on the internet but nothing fixed it. Had my son take it to YouBreakIFix - they gave it back saying they couldn't do anything. I was bummed - had a $300 paperweight. We then took it to Experimac in Boynton. Josh had it diagnosed in a few minutes and all it required was a new battery, which was not that costly. I'm thrilled. Worst experience EVER! Took the phone for a screen repair after going through a horrible experience with a different company. The screen was repaired but the screen started to lift not even a full 24hours after its repairs. I took the phone back to get the proper hold glue for the screen. Screen still was not held down properly. Took it back for the second time and now not even a two weeks the phone has black out and I'm being told that the company will not fix the damage. The warranty states 1 year and no damages to the screen/phone which is the case. Company is a total rip off. None of the employees asked to try and resolve this issue and they all stood around me with an I don't care look. read more

Our family is a huge fan of Experimac! We have gone to them about 4-5 times with various iPhone issues for different members of our family of 5. They have fixed problems that the AT&T store told us were impossible to resolve (such as retrieving all of the contact info from a phone that had a non-functioning screen) and given us great warranties on their work, as well as good advice on when it's worth it to fix and when it's not. I've come to like and trust them so much that I don't plan on ever buying an iPhone from anyone except them, or having one repaired anywhere else, especially since I know they stand behind their work/products. I had sudden issues with my MacBook Air and looked for a local place where I might find some help. I found Experimax and read a number of excellent reviews, so I made an appointment for that morning. Basically my Mac needed a new board. However, for four hundred twenty-five dollars plus my 2015 mac I purchased a refurbished a 2017 mac complete with a 1 year guarantee. Repairing my old computer would have cost four hundred dollars plus I would have been forced to wait approximately 1 week. This entire process took about 1 hour. Class organization and staff. Upon walking in, they immediately approached me to assist. I had a problem with my MACbook Pro not booting, and they diagnosed the issue immediately. They, also, found a recall that was out for my computer that resulted in a much lower cost on the repairs. Got the computer back after about 3 days, and it works so much better. I would truly recommend going to this store both for their Customer Service friendly staff as well as their Technology experts to resolve your issues with all available options at a very reasonable cost. Love 'em! When my laptop's battery swelled and it stopped working, Apple could fix it (sending to the factory - and if spill, $700+) A new one would have been at least $1000, and "not sure we can retrieve what was on the hard drive". A friend took me to Experimac, where I got a refurbished, later model for $500+, and they transferred all data in an hour. Since then, I've have phone issues, and if I call, they can and will help me over the phone, saving me a trip down there at no charge. Purchased a pre-owned MacBook Pro around Christmas 2017. Josh was super helpful--guided me in getting the appropriate upgrades for what I need, tried to help set me up on my work's non-Mac friendly server (it was the firewall) and I feel like I paid a very reasonable price for a quality machine. Only problem I've had is that the power is showing 'Service Battery' so I do need to get over to the store, but I presume this should be no problem since Experimac has their 1 year warranty! I have had nothing but amazing service at Experimac. I once dropped my iPhone 6 in the water. They kept it for a few days and spent a lot of time on it. Unfortunately, it was not able to be salvanged, but even though they spent several days trying various solutions, there was no charge--just a friendly smile! A couple months ago, they purchased my iPhone 7+ for more than what Sprint would have given me. This is a great place. I first came in about a yer or so ago and thought i have to buy a new laptop because mine was failing. They said why buy a new one when we can just fix this one. What a sales person who was not trying to upset me on something i didn't need. They fixed it and its been working ever great since. I took my MacMini in because it was very hot all the time. They took it in, tested it and called me to let me know that there was nothing wrong and did not charge me. I also had another interaction with something I bought from them and, again, they called when it was installed and ready to go. The price was very reasonable and the service and employees were friendly, knowledgeable and I would highly recommend them to anybody who needs computer repair. Their service is top notch and friendly. After an update, somehow my Mac had locked me out and wouldn't recognize my password. I tried several things, but rather than risk making things worse or losing data I came to Experimac. When the Apple store in Wellington kept extending the repair time for my MBP, I looked into other options.
