My surgeon was Dr. Kansara... he is with the affiliated California Orthopedics. I have had other work done by the doctors there... and same thing, very, very good experience. She checked me in efficiently, and Martin did a battery of thorough peripheral and eyesight exams. Then I saw Dr. Sundaram who was even more thorough and had me take more tests/scans including optic nerve and cornea. She walked me through the results and went over my MRI with me, explaining what they indicated and next steps. She was factual and matter of fact, but also calmed my nerves a bit. The only reason this is a 4 star review and not 5 stars is because I had two appointments (field eye test then the consult), an hour apart. The second time I was 20 minutes early, checked in online then went to the front desk. The girl who helped me had no idea how to check me in and when I told her what Jackie did to check me in, she still looked lost and went and asked for help. Long story short, it somehow took 25 minutes for this to happen so instead of being early I ended up getting seen late. Dr. Sundaram was great and very thorough, and I would recommend her.

Got blood work done in January, didn't get a follow up call. Made an in person appointment, but they said they couldn't see me until June!!! Went in June, and got the same thing again, blood work! Got blood work, no call again, my numbers got worse. I call, and they tell me I can't get a virtual follow up appointment until September! It's now September, my appointment came by, no call. Will be looking for a new doctor.

Most dr visits anywhere would freak him out and he can't handle waiting too long. At Dr Padilla's they have always been very patient & understanding with his needs. From the medical assistant to the practitioners. They have made what could be very stressful visits actually very pleasant. The only negative I have is that they Have fees for a lot of things I didn't think about. Needed some insurance papers filled out. $15 fee Follow-up phone call to see how kiddo was doing..fee( call was less than 5 mins) but that might just be our insurance not sure we have tricare. If it weren't for how awesome the staff if I would reconsider them and also my kiddo barely needs to see them aside from the usual check up.

She confined the options with her supervisor and we were happy with the care. My only suggestion is to add a better epoxy to the medical room we were in. It didn't feel very clean. The clinic is always exceptionally clean, and everything runs efficiently. I've only been here for my daughter's annual athletic physicals, and each visit has been consistently excellent. They already have the required paperwork for Sweetwater school district but it's best to bring your own to avoid glitches. The physical was only $40, and despite a busy waiting room, we were in and out in just 30 minutes. We arrived on a Saturday at 1:00 p.m. and walked out by 1:30. I have been here at 530 pm and walked out by 6. From entry to paperwork to physical. And I have excellent insurance! SB Urgent Care is opened seven days a week. Cash & card accepted. Opened in the evenings. No appointment necessary. I appreciate they are organized, affordable, and hassle-free. Although I come for the physical other patients were there for medical situations. The only drawback is that you can hear everything. If you have a sensitive situation, whisper or write it down. I am greatly pleased of this medical facility in the community that is accessible by bus, car, or your feet. "When health is accessible, lives are preserved ."
