This company was great initially. However the follow up phone calls stopped and they want busy business owners to track the social media page(s). Now I parted ways with itrade and upon my exit I had hundreds of dollars in trade credit. I asked that they give me comedy club gift cards. Speaking to the rep he said he would priority mail them to me. Well upon receiving the "mail" the itrade "priority mail" was wrapped in a US post envelop (picture is in review). The mail WAS NOT sent priority and someone had clearly ripped it open and gotten my gift certificates. When I called itrade (as this was their fault as it was not delivered and not priority mail as promised) they said I would have to take it up with the post office. This company doesn't give a f--k that they just handed over hundreds of dollars of my hard earned money and it was their fault. Had it been sent as priority it would have been in a larger envelope and the gift certificates would not have been stolen as they would have been seen so easily. DO NOT WORK WITH THIS COMPANY. I've been an iTrade member for a year now and had a bad experience using another local trade company in the past. I REALLY love this trade organization and Gina always takes great care of me. She makes sure I'm aware of new trade opportunities and there are just so many companies in iTrade it makes it very useful. So far I traded for; Dental work Musical lessons Cabin up north Christmas gifts Tons of restaurants Water treatment system Locksmith work Arabian horse show tickets Comedy club tickets King size bed Furniture reupholstered CBD products Valentines gift basket I am sure I'm missing stuff but this is the first few things that come to mind. This company has come a long way in the past few years. They have an ongoing job of weeding out businesses that try to inflate barter prices over what they would charge cash buyers. They keep track of the businesses that give poor service and won't refer people to them. Just like any other business. They have expanded the number of member businesses that meet many of my needs. From eyeglasses to tires, concerts to tacos, travel to home cleaning. iTrade Pay is not perfect and doesn't have everything I want. But I don't expect (I do want!) Costco and Safeway to be members. I am very comfortable with my broker Kayla Frederick. She does her job, telling me about services and special offers but also understanding that no means no. Taking the time to understand the fees and tax ramifications is an important part of the puzzle. Being brave enough to say no - to decline or postpone accepting new business is part of the deal. Barter is not meant to replace cash but it can be a valuable business tool when used appropriately. I find a close kinship with fellow business owners who use iTradePay. Can I give less than 1 star? Don't get involved with these people. Closer to a scam than a legitimate company. There's the barter, then the fees, plus the cash you pay to them, only to be followed up at the end of the year with a1099 for you to pay taxes on the whole thing (which conveniently no one mentions). They have changed their name again apparently and are sending out bills to customers from the old company for fees from years ago with overnight threats to collections. We have been using I- Trade for years and absolutely don't know how we ever got along without it! All the people in the office are always there and eager to do whatever it takes to assist in your search for services and goods. HUGE SCAM DO NOT SIGN UP!!! All of your sales made through itrade are tracked and you get a 1099 at the end of the year. So not only are you paying significantly higher prices with all the other vendors but you pay an additional 10% commission fee to iTrade, plus $8/month whether you have a lot or 0 activity that month. It makes absolutely 0 financial sense to use this service. 0 benefit and all downside. Do not waste your time. I'm not just some ranting unhappy customer. I was a member for years! The vendor lost kept shrinking while I was there so when I did wanna use my trade money there wasn't anyone on there I'd wanna buy from and if I did I'd have to pay 30% higher prices plus an extra 10% trade fee. Long story short it's a joke please don't waste your time and money. Charge your customers a fair price and then you'll get charged a fair price searching and negotiating with cash prices. read more

Avoid this company like the PLAGUE they are a price gouging company with bs fees they tell the business to charge double or triple what the service or product is worth I have recorded conversations to prove it they also try to schedule for you without even notifying you, services you paid for sometimes never even happen and they don't want to refund you because the other company said they contacted you which is a lie. If I could give this company the most negative number review I would BELIEVE ME oh and your information isn't safe you get calls everyday from a competitor they have because itrade does not secure your information so be prepared for that aswell.!! read more

High transaction fees and beware small company's they will promote you massively only to bankrupt you with the out of pocket expenses you have, then close your account if you can't pay, having you lose thousands of your barter money. We lost over 10k in cash with this company only to lose almost as much in barter money. They call you every other day to "sell" you something too. They even changed names to get away from their other bad reviews which we should have looked up prior to joining. We've talked to so many unhappy customers. Complete scam, beware! Just google 'value card alliance' for some more real reviews. They changed their name to iTrade once they were too exposed. I'm not sure how they get away with what they do..as a small business, you earn trade 'dollars' from other small businesses in their circle, not actual cash (so you're already losing money when you have your expenses/overhead of employees, gas, tools, etc). Then we accumulated up to $20,000 in trade. We started having some issues with some customers on trade who were using our service and decided this would not be a feasible, sustainable option for our business (or any business for that matter). We cancelled the account and we were told we could keep that money to use with the businesses listed on there. Well an hour after that conversation I received a phone call stating we owe itrade $3,700 and our account is negative, gee is that a coincidence or what? Now they won't stop harassing us with phone calls. read more
