After researching places to fix my son's phone after it appeared to die after water exposure and 24 hour wait for drying time, this place came up with the best ratings. We live 30 minutes away but I called and explained what happened and asked if he could help out. I dropped the phone off and he ran a diagnostic showing it was the motherboard and quoted $150. I left to run errands and in about 90 minutes he called back and had been able to clean up the motherboard and get it working again. For the first time in my LIFE, I dropped my cell phone and the screen cracked (even though I had an Otter safety cover on it). Just piling on another 5 star review. Our kiddo decided to bring his iPad into the tub with him to listen to music. He promptly learned that wasn't a great idea. He didn't tell us the iPad wasn't turning on (he had a mega case on it) for a week or two. We then searched Yelp and came across IDoctor AZ. He responded to our request for a quote immediately, told us it likely wasn't totally a lost cause, and then fixed it very quickly and for a fair price. I wanted to write this review ASAP because I was so impressed with the speed, quality and friendliness of the service. My 3rd gen iPad Pro's USB-C port was no longer accepting a charge and had been intermittently failing to accept a charge for over a year (ex: plug in - fail to charge - rotate the connection 180 degrees and it charges....) I searched Yelp for highly rated iPad repair shops and this place (inside a Water and Ice) is miraculously a quarter of a mile from our house! I called him first to get a quote and then dropped it off. Vahe said he would test the iPad to determine the issue and contact me. I called him after about 1 hour because I was in a rush and he said the port had been replaced, but that he wanted to see how it charged before he called me to say the work was complete. How thoughtful! The cost to replace the USB-C port was extremely reasonable and far more economical than purchasing a new iPad. After walking out the door, Vahe came out and asked if I used 1 cable to charge the iPad. I told him I use several around the house and several while traveling for work. He said that he thinks 1 specific cable most likely broke 1 of the pins in the iPad's connection port, but it will be next to impossible to tell which one it is, since I use several cables. I had some problems finding this little shop. Had to go home and double check the address since there is no business name outside. Turns out suite 7A is the "Water and Ice" store just like the photo that yelp shows. The price quoted for a new battery was less than another store i called so I brought it in. My iphone8 was not charging and I thought I might need a new battery. It was tested and the gentleman who worked there told me that I only needed a new charger and recommended I get one at the apple store. I found this place on Yelp and the reviews were very good so I decided to reach out about getting the screen on my LG G7 ThinQ. He mainly works on apple stuff so he didn't have my screen in stock and had to order it. I paid $15 to have the part shipped overnight and lefty my phone with him. The next day around noon he called me no my wife's cell phone and let me know the phone was done. Verizon wanted $350 for their cheapest phone and the repair was $91.89 with the shipping.
