Habitas was breathe taking peaceful...food and staff were amazing. Second stop was La Valise in Tulum, Mexico. The room had an amazing view of the ocean plus the hotel is conveniently located close to some very cool boutiques, restaurants and bars. Dinner was at Nu Tulum located across the street from La Valise and if you have the chance of visiting, see Roberto, the head bartender! His mixology skills are too notch and his knowledge of Mezcal is on point!!! My third stop was Jashita Tulum which is located on Solomon Bay...totally secluded on the other side of Tulum...another amazing place with wonderful staff and food. The hotel's restaurant, Pandano is somewhat of an Italian/Mexican fusion with maxing dishes and they actually make fresh pasta by hand on site! The owner Clemente even visits each table every evening to greet the guests and "spread love" as he would say. All three places were breathe taking I didn't have to worry about anything! Eugene Toriko took care of every detail and made sure to check on us to see if everything was good. I definitely will be using this agency for all of my future travels.

The Grahams are some of the coolest people you'll ever meet and they know how to put together an amazing trip. Events, activities, meals, hotels, and transportation included, and all taken care of prior to arrival. I've absolutely made preparations to book a trip or two with PPP a year. A couple days into the tour, Mary went from being helpful and a resource, to being rude, disdainful and dismissive of me, personally. For ex., I got in a wrong line at Heathrow airport and was subsequently, detained in a PUBLIC 'holding pen' - "look at the criminal, the TERRORIST, everybody!" It was utterly humiliating. When reunited with the group, however, not only did Mary express NO sympathy for my mortification, she didn't even ask what happened. To the contrary, she made it a point to let me (and all who had eyes and ears) know that my welfare was as nothing to her - I was insignificant? expendable? - as before I could even open my mouth to recount my experience, cut me off dismissively and 'ordered' me into another line. It was par for the course. After the first couple days of the tour, Mary was INVARIABLY rude, disrespectful, and when personal instructions were required, 'barked' them at me... once... before turning pre-emptively on her heel and walking away. To salvage 'value' for my $6,000+ tour, I kept my distance from her haughty hatefulness (what other words are there for her behavior?) for the remainder of the tour. Why the change of attitude? Why single out one PAYING customer... all of a sudden... who had the same attitude from departure to arrival, to vent her spleen upon? Was the woman young enough to be my daughter encouraged to act so ugly? Thus, I have only one caveat: if you do decide to take a tour with Consolidated Tours, watch out for Mary. With neither rhyme, reason, nor warning, she can turn on you on a dime. Btw, I give my Consolidated Tours experience 2 stars. As the proverbial one who has never had a 'bad' date in her life, i.e., give this 74 year old world traveling grannie a lemon and she will ALWAYS make lemonade, I enjoyed (most of) my first, and maybe last, tour experience.

With such a large group, one can imagine some unexpected challenges may have come up during those 14 days. And we did have some, but they were all dealt with promptly and in a satisfactory manner by Mary. The accommodations were great. The tour guides were very knowledgeable and pleasant. And I made some new friends to share my experiences with. I would not hesitate to travel again with Consolidated Tours. Phyllis A
